Are Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid Still together? Supermodel Talks About Her ‘Boyfriend,’  Wears ‘Z’ Necklace in LA

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik reportedly split up this week, putting an end to their seven-month whirlwind romance and to many fans’ hopes that forever love could exist. Although none of the stars has confirmed the break up, all major news outlets reported Zayn and Gigi’s separation, which allegedly took place in a fully packed week for endings, such as the Huffington Post.

Indeed, as the couple put an end to their story, so did Gigi’s best friend and squad partner Taylor Swift, who Calvin Harris broke up with after 15 months. Singer Demi Lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama also ended things after six years. Unlike Zayn and Gigi, the more mature lovebirds published a statement on their social media accounts, saying they were parting ways as best friends. All three ladies had previously dated Joe Jonas, fueling the rumor that the “Joe Jonas curse” is behind all the recent splits, according to a previous report by the Inquisitr.

But back to Zayn and Gigi: rumors are flying around that the ‘Pillowtalk’ singer and her belle are actually still together. Is this possible? Have we been reading too much into their cryptic Instagram and Snapchat posts?

Why Zayn And Gigi Are Still Together

Out in LA on Friday, Gidi was seen wearing her ‘Z’ necklace – the one she got herself on his 23rd birthday in January, which obviously is a pretty clear sign he’s still on her heart and mind.

But that’s not all. Gigi’s recent Snapchat posts have left her fans wondering whether maybe the break up never took place. First, she posted this picture of a card with a heart on a t-shirt sleeve, and it read “I know it’s obvious but I love you.” She captioned the post with a smiley face.

Then, there’s the video of her singing along to “Pillowtalk” during the Maybelline New York L.A. Beauty Batch on Friday night.

And finally… Reports are coming out that she publicly spoke about her “boyfriend,” which reporters present expected the topic to be off-limit, yet the supermodel was beaming about him like the break-up never happened…

Whether it’s true or not, Zayn and Gigi must be enjoying gathering literally all the media attention and have been going on minding their own business in the meantime. Gigi was out at the Nice Guy Thursday, a real celebrity hotspot, with pals Kendall and Kylie Jenner when she wore the tribute necklace which sparked the rumors.

Saturday night, Gigi appeared at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards in a dress that turned more than a few heads, proving again that whatever is really going on in her personal life, it doesn’t affect her job.

But it’s not all been about work, and Zayn’s ex-or-current girlfriend Gigi also has been spending time with Taylor Swift, who’s no doubt enjoyed her friend’s support in this hard time. Taylor Swift and Callvin Harris called off their relationship this week, which was confirmed on the Scottish DJ’s Instagram account – leaving very little room for speculation.

And some fans are, expectedly, very excited about the prospect of the young stars being single again and took to Twitter to give their take on the high-profile breakup.

Others have been discussing the possibility that Zayn and Gigi took a break from their relationship to respect Ramadan, which begins this year on June 7th.
