‘Teen Mom’ Stars Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Reveal The Real Reason Behind Their Divorce

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry’s marriage to Javi Marroquin has been in trouble for a long time.

With a divorce on the horizon, Lowry and Marroquin have officially opened up about the reasons behind their imminent split. Despite everything the two have been through over the years, Marroquin’s desire to expand their family proved the final straw in the marriage.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, questions about the future of their marriage first surfaced after Lowry and Marroquin unfollowed each other on social media. The fallout happened after Marroquin sent a racy photo to another woman.

Rumors of Marroquin cheating on Lowry quickly surfaced, leading many fans to believe that a divorce was on the way.

Following the photo controversy, Lowry came out and revealed that she and Marroquin had decided to end their marriage. Based on Lowry’s interview, there is little hope that the two will get back together.

Although the pair has certainly gone through a number of difficult times over the years, including a recent miscarriage, the true reason behind their divorce centers on Marroquin’s desire to expand his family.

Apparently, Marroquin is done with Lowry because she refused to have more kids.

“You don’t want to be with me because I don’t want to have any more kids?” Lowry told Marroquin in a recent preview of Teen Mom 2.

“Well, that’s a big reason why,” Marroquin replied. “I didn’t say I don’t want to be with you, I said we’re not going to work.”

Of course, Lowry wouldn’t back down that easily. Instead, she hammered Marroquin for wanting to have more kids.

“Right. So, we’re not going to work out because I don’t want to have any more children?” she stated.

Kailyn Lowry then told the audience why she doesn’t want to have more kids with Marroquin. Not only does Lowry want to focus on her education, but she also wants to start working full time after she finishes her degree.

Having more kids could prevent her from fulfilling her personal goals.

“It’s about the fact that it’s so f**king hard to have two kids by myself and go to school,” she shared. “And then imagine if I had a third kid! I want to be working full time when I graduate. I want to be working!”

According to Design & Trend, the next episode of Teen Mom 2 will reveal everything that happened behind the scenes that caused Lowry and Marroquin to end their marriage.

In a new promo for the season finale, Marroquin finally tells Lowry that he is done being with her. This is the first time Marroquin has admitted the end of their marriage on television.

“No, I don’t feel like anything is up in the air,” Marroquin answered her. “And we texted and we talked about our future… I guess there is no future.”

Considering how their marriage has unraveled in the episodes leading up to the finale, there is little chance that Lowry and Marroquin will ever reconcile.

While fans wait for the finale of Teen Mom 2, Lowry is now focusing on getting her education and the well-being of her kids, leaving little room for Marroquin in her life.

For his part, Marroquin is still deployed overseas in the U.S. Air Force. Once he returns to the states, the two are planning on working out a new custody arrangement and finalizing their divorce.
