Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Split — Wedding Pressure And His Lingering Feelings For JoJo Fletcher Doom Relationship?

Are Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell headed for a split?

Although the two agreed to marry each other at the end of Higgins’ run on The Bachelor, Parent Herald reports that their engagement is on the verge of ending.

In the midst of wedding rumors, Higgins and Bushnell have been allegedly fighting over Higgins’ former love and Bachelor runner-up JoJo Fletcher. While Fletcher’s run on The Bachelorette continues to unfold, Higgins and Bushnell have been arguing nonstop about his feelings for Fletcher.

To make matters worse, Higgins has remained in contact with Fletcher. Considering their past history together, and the fact that filming for The Bachelorette has concluded, Bushnell did not react kindly to the news that Higgins and Fletcher are still talking.

As fans will recall, Higgins told Fletcher that he loved her prior to giving his final rose to Bushnell.

Because of his confession to Fletcher, Higgins’ relationship with Bushnell started on bad footing. The couple had to deal with Higgins’ past feelings for Fletcher before moving on with their lives together.

Based on the latest reports, it appears as though Higgins still harbors some emotions for Fletcher.

As far as Fletcher is concerned, she has seemingly moved past her feelings for Higgins. In an interview with ET, the reality star admitted that being on The Bachelorette has taught her a lot about why Higgins chose Bushnell in the end.

“When I was in it, I had no idea,” she stated. “Now, it’s clear as day why he chose Lauren.”

Fletcher has already started to weed through her suitors on The Bachelorette. So far, the clear favorite to win over her heart is Jordan Rodgers, the brother of the Green Bay Packers’ quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

At this point, it is unknown whether or not Fletcher picked Rodgers as her final choice. If she did hand Rodgers her final rose, there is a strong possibility that he proposed to her.

Meanwhile, the Morning Ledger reports that this is not the only time Higgins has faced cheating allegations. During his time on The Bachelor, Ben Higgins reportedly talked with his ex-girlfriend from college.

At the same time, reports have surfaced that Bushnell is having trouble adjusting to her new home in Denver. With Bushnell unable to find proper employment, she is seriously considering moving back to Los Angeles.

An inside source revealed to OK! Magazine that Bushnell’s inability to work is weighing heavy on their relationship.

“She’s having an extremely hard time adjusting and has been full of anxiety,” the insider stated. “It’s bringing the relationship down.”

While breakup rumors continue to spread, Higgins and Bushnell’s relationship appears normal on the outside. According to Hollywood Take, not only are the two still going strong, but they are actively preparing for the big wedding.

The biggest question surrounding Higgins and Bushnell’s wedding is whether or not they plan to televise the event. So far, they have both expressed a desire to broadcast the ceremony on live TV.

“We’re open to it. I think it’d be fun,” Higgins shared. “That is a good question, one that we haven’t discussed fully yet. We want a wedding fairly quickly. But we also want to try and take things as normal as possible for now. We are open to anything I think.”

For her part, Bushnell added that she wants a huge wedding.

“I want a huge reception. How often in life do all your friends and family gather in one room to celebrate something? Why get married tomorrow if we can plan a big ass party?” she stated.

Of course, Higgins and Bushnell’s wedding depends on whether or not the two can work through their differences. In the end, only time will tell if they get hitched or become another unsuccessful Bachelor experiment.
