Will.i.am, Cheryl Cole Injured In Minor Car Crash
Music artists Cheryl Cole and Will.i.Am were left bloodied and bruised after being involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
According to Contact Music, the pair was on their way back from an all-night recording session when the Black Eye Peas frontman crashed his Cadillac into a parked car, causing his head to slam into the airbag in front of the steering wheel, and Cheryl, who was sitting in the passenger seat, to hit her head against the dashboard. The crash occurred at 3:30 am.
Witnesses at the scene claim Cole, 29, received a bloody nose from the incident and that Will.i.am suffered whiplash, bruises, and a bleeding nose when his air-bag was triggered.
After police were called out to the crash site, Cole was treated at the scene while Will.i.am was taken to the nearby Cedars Sinai hospital where he emerged later wearing a neck-brace.
The 37-year-old rapper later took to Twitter to assure fans he was fine.
“Car accidents are not dope… I`m glad I`m o.k. Cheryl Cole [and I] were coming back from the studio but she and I are fine… just a little wiplash [sic],” Will wrote.
Cole said no serious damage was done to either of them.
“Don’t worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise x,” Cole also tweeted.
Will.i.am’s manager Polo Molina added on Twitter:
“Just spoke to @iamwill everything is OK. he and @cherylcole are both fine.
“It was a minor fender bender after a long day/night in the studio. They are both OK. a little bit shaken BUT thankfull that noone got hurt.”
