Snooki Baby Photos Could Fetch A Small Fortune

Snooki’s baby boy has only been in the world a few days, but the little guy could already be on his way to earning a quarter of a million dollars.

That is the price reportedly being offered by magazines and photo agencies for exclusive rights to images of the new baby, The Huffington Post reported.

Lorenzo Lavale and his mom, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, have been targets for photographers since his birth. When she left the hospital Snooki was surrounded by photographers, including a film crew from MTV. Celebrity news outlet TMZ bragged that it had the world’s first photos of Snooki’s baby, who was wrapped tightly in his mother’s arms as she was wheeled out of a New Jersey hospital.

As TMZ noted, in the picture there wasn’t much visible of Snooki’s baby other than the top of his head as she held him tightly in a receiving blanket.

One magazine editor told The Huffington Post that officially sanctioned photos of Snooki’s baby will be a sought-after item.

“There is great interest in seeing what Snooki’s son looks like,” the magazine said. “She has never been a great seller in the past, but who doesn’t want to see if her little meatball looks like his famous mom? I expect the bidding war could go as high as $250,000, with several outlets bidding against each other and raising the price.”

Celebrity baby photos are becoming a hot commodity in Hollywood. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who made some good money selling photos of their wedding and honeymoon, decided to give pictures of their baby away to fans through their website, while charging news outlets who want to use them. The proceeds from the sale went to the Fresh Air Fund Camp, an organization Mariah has been involved in for more than 20 years.
