Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Take Romantic Holiday In Italy, Why She Is Willing To Give Him ‘Another Chance’
Love was in the air after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted on a romantic getaway in Italy with their children.
According to Us Magazine, Affleck left London after working on the set of The Justice League: Part One. He then met Garner and their three children in Venice, Italy.
The couple’s Italian vacation has sparked further speculation that Affleck and the Miracles from Heaven star are on the road to reconciling their marriage.
“A lot of the damage in their relationship has been mended,” a source told the outlet. “They’re in a really good place.”
Affleck and Garner have been staying in London while he works on his newest film. The couple are expected to remain in the area until production ends later this summer.
Apparently, their time overseas has rekindled their romance to the point where Garner is ready to take Affleck back.
“Jen would get back together with him,” the source added.
According to the Daily Mail, the trip to Venice was exactly what Affleck and Garner needed. Not only did it provide some time away from the spotlight, it also helped them work through their differences, including Affleck’s cheating ways.
As fans will recall, Garner revealed that Ben Affleck did sleep with their children’s nanny, though the affair happened after they had decided to split. Even still, his actions were a difficult hurdle for the couple to get through.
At the same time, Wonder Wall reports that both Affleck and Garner still love each other. In fact, they’d rather work out their problems and get back together than break up.
“I am a giant fan of Jennifer,” Affleck shared. “She’s just a fabulous person. She’s just a wonderful person. She’s a great mother. She’s a real talent.”
Affleck went on to emphasize just how much their kids mean to their relationship and left the question of a reconciliation open.
“Life doesn’t always turn out exactly the way you want. We’re doing our very best and we’re putting our kids first. That’s how we’re focusing on our day-to-day lives, and we don’t know what the future’s going to hold.”
Of course, neither Affleck nor Garner has commented on the latest rumors regarding the future of their relationship. Instead of getting back together, an insider revealed that Affleck and Garner are remaining together for the benefit of their kids.
“Ben and Jen are not getting back together,” the source explained. “They’re co-parenting and showing the kids Europe while he’s there filming. That’s all it is and they’re happy with this arrangement.”
To complicate matters, Enstarz reports that Affleck recently tried to get back together with his children’s former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. An Uber driver in Miami claimed that he drove Affleck and a mysterious blonde woman to a hotel.
Affleck and the women were apparently arguing about something when they got in the car.
“It was obvious the ‘surly’ actor-director and his lady had been arguing — and not about riding shotgun,” a source stated.
Ouzounian has blonde hair and lives close to Miami. Although it isn’t known if she was the mystery woman, the circumstances are a little too coincidental to think otherwise.
That being said, another source has since come forward and revealed that Affleck is not back with Ouzounian. Instead, the Batman v Superman star is preparing for another baby with Garner.
“[Affleck and Garner] began hooking up occasionally a while ago,” the source said. “They see such a turn of events as the clearest sign that they shouldn’t give up on their romance just yet… A baby could be a big challenge, but they’re excited to tackle everything together now.”
Rumors of Garner’s pregnancy have not been confirmed.
