Emily Ratajkowski Empowered By Boyfriend Jeff Magid To Do Naked Selfies

Emily Ratajkowski has been very vocal about female sexuality and it looks like her boyfriend Jeff Magid has been a tremendous support throughout it all. Ever since she came out with a bang with “Blurred Lines” music video, Emily Ratajkowski has been more than brave about her career choices and not letting the haters get the best of her.

With her birthday coming up this week, the model is making sure to spend as much quality time with her boyfriend Jeff Magid.

“She has been dating musician Jeff Magid for over a year now,” reports Daily Mail. “And things certainly looked to be going well for Emily Ratajkowski and her boyfriend as they stepped out for a coffee run in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The 24-year-old model and her beau coordinated their attire as they walked hand-in-hand on the early morning outing.”

And just this morning, the actress was spotted kicking off her birthday weekend in style in a gorgeous dress with him by her side.

“Emily Ratajkowski looked runway ready in a floral print halter top dress on Friday while grabbing takeout with boyfriend Jeff Magid in Los Angeles,” reports Daily Mail. “The 24-year-old model showed her toned pins in the long sleeveless blue dress with red floral print and thigh high slit. Emily – who turns 25 on Tuesday – completed her look with shiny golden flats.”

But when she is at home, she dresses more casually.

It may be so that her steadfast relationship with her boyfriend has given her the armor and strength to pursue her activism.

Earlier this year, Emily wrote an essay for Lenny, a newsletter collated by Lena Dunham, about her experiences of having a body that is often sexualized by others, even those that love her. In that essay, she wrote about how she will not cave into the demands and expectations of those around her.

“I refuse to live in this world of shame and silent apologies,” she wrote. “Life cannot be dictated by the perceptions of others, and I wish the world had made it clear to me that people’s reactions to my sexuality were not my problems, they were theirs.”

She definitely does not shy away from selfies that show her sexy body, even those that are put under question by Instagram. In fact, Emily is famous for her topless selfie with Kim Kardashian, who has been the first big persona in Hollywood to free her nipples.

She also has been accused of being anti-feminist by critics that think her way of pursuing gender equality is flawed.

“If there’s anyone here who doesn’t understand the cause, it’s Ratajkowski,” reports the Independent. “She seems to be suffering somewhat of an identity crisis. On one hand she wants to fight against the objectification and oppression of women’s bodies, yet she happily profits from her ability to titillate men.”

She made her special brand of feminism more specific in an interview with Glamour.

“I shave my armpits and wear makeup,” she said. “They might be things I like because they’re part of a patriarchal society, but I’m reclaiming them. Women should be the ones who are in control, even if they’re topless or being sexual.”

She also mentioned Jeff Magid in the interview, hinting that they are still going strong after so many years of being together.

“I’ve dragged my boyfriend to Korean spas, which is hilarious because he goes into a separate area with other naked men. Then you come out together, feel great, and swap stories.”
