Charlie Sheen Says ‘Anger Management’ Owes Him $40 Million
Charlie Sheen, the American actor best known for playing Charlie on Two and a Half Men, is plagued by an outstanding credit card debt. According to the Indian Express, Charlie Sheen has an outstanding balance of $287,879.28 on his Platinum American Express card, and the company has taken legal action against him.

Sheen should have already settled his account by March 12, but he has incurred late fees of $8,357.69. He blames the situation on a former business manager, as he said that if he was American Express, he would be suing himself too.
Perhaps it could be argued that Charlie Sheen had gotten complacent with his role on Anger Management. According to the Mirror, Charlie Sheen believes that he is owed $40 million from the TV show.
When Anger Management began airing reruns, he was expecting that huge amounts would be coming his way. It is, however, believed that Sheen had not received any money from the show’s reruns, and he is considering taking legal action against FX. Charlie Sheen is rumored to have owned a 30 percent stake in the show and has been hounding executives to get his hands on the proceeds of the reruns.
Reports have been circulating that Sheen is being fobbed off with a number of excuses that range from the show going over budget to the series having encountered “unforeseen costs.” According to the Mirror, Charlie Sheen has said that he is not at all pleased with what is happening, because he sees the TV show being aired “day and night,” and that he feels he should have received royalties of at least $30 million to $40 million so far. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

Charlie Sheen landed the role in Anger Management after he left his old show, Two and a Half Men, during his public breakdown in 2011. Anger Management was an immediate success, as the first episode managed to bring in 5.7 million viewers in the United States. In 2014, the show ended after airing its 100th episode.
His financial crisis aside, things seem to be looking up for Charlie Sheen and his former wife Denise Richards, as the couple seems to be moving on well from their formerly bitter relationship. According to the Daily Mail, Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were spotted spending a day together along with their two children last month.

Sheen and Richards were spotted with their two daughters in Malibu soon after claims circulated that Charlie Sheen had evicted Richards and their children from a home he had bought for them. Charlie Sheen was seen wearing a bandage on his hand, casually dressed in shorts, a T-shirt, and a pink button down.
Denise Richards, who was seen walking with their daughter Lola, was reported to be suing Charlie Sheen for $1.2 million earlier this year. The legal battle had ensued after Charlie Sheen had his former wife and his two daughters evicted from their Los Angeles home and allegedly sent them abusive texts, according to court documents. He was reported to have asked Richards and his daughters to move into a nearby home he purchased in trust for the daughters. However, Charlie Sheen became erratic and abusive to them and even had them evicted from the property after they moved, the court documents allege.
Sheen was once paying around $55,000 a month to Denise Richards and his other ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, but he was able to get his child support payments reduced after he lost his Two and a Half Men earnings. Charlie Sheen netted $26.75 million when he sold off the rights to his royalties from the smash hit sitcom for a lump sum. But in doing so, it also meant that Sheen would be losing around $613,000 in monthly income from the show.
