Angelina Jolie Faces Anorexia, Cancer Claims, As Brad Pitt Divorce And Marion Cotillard Affair Rumors Swirl
Angelina Jolie’s super skinny frame has led to ongoing claims that she’s either anorexic or suffering from a dire health condition.
As the 40-year-old also faces rumors of a possible divorce from her husband of less than two years, Brad Pitt, numerous publications have weighed in on why Jolie is so thin. Although Gossip Cop confirmed on May 30 that Angelina Jolie was not anorexic or suffering from any sort of bone disease, nor was she starving herself to raise awareness for refugees, she still looks shockingly thin.

Angelina Jolie used to sport an enviable figure, but in the years since she and Pitt began their relationship over a decade ago, she seems to have wasted away. And while she previously rocked sexy gowns on the red carpet she now sticks to baggier attire, which hides her frail body. In fact, even when she is at the beach with her children, she wears a loose fitting dress rather than a swimsuit.
While a report last month claimed Angelina Jolie’s weight loss, which reportedly led to a 79-pound frame, may have been the result of marital stress, divorce rumors have not yet been confirmed. That said, they’ve been swirling since earlier this year after Pitt began working with French actress Marion Cotillard on the WWII film, Allied.
“The resentment has been eating away at Angelina,” an insider told In Touch Weekly in March, according to a report by Hollywood Life. “She’s prone to think that since she was once Brad’s co-star and seduced him away from his wife, the same will happen to her.”
Angelina Jolie’s romance with Pitt infamously began on the set of their movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, despite the fact that Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston at the time. So, now that Jolie is the wife at home while Pitt films with another woman, she reportedly has insecurities that have led to major jealousy.

In addition to Angelina Jolie’s jealousy over her husband’s time with Cotillard, the source claimed she was insecure about Cotillard’s many accomplishments in the world of entertainment.
“She’s exactly the kind of sultry European actress that [Angelina Jolie] has always wanted to be and she’s playing exactly the kind of role Angie’s always wanted to play,” the magazine’s source explained. “Adding to the jealousy is the fact that Marion has one thing Angelina hasn’t achieved in her acting career: an Oscar for Best Actress.”
According to the report, Pitt was tired of Angelina Jolie’s jealousy issues and planning to file for divorce.
“He will be the one to file,” In Touch Weekly reported. “He’s fed up with her controlling ways, her obstinateness when it comes to listening to him about her health issues and how she needs to slow down and now her outright jealousy when it comes to other women.”
Following reports of an alleged attraction, or possibly, an affair, between Pitt and Cotillard, Pitt faced another rumor which claimed he had been caught kissing his other female co-star, Lizzy Caplan. According to a report by Radar Online last month, Pitt and Caplan were photographed locking lips on the set of Allied and wife Angelina Jolie was nowhere in sight.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot in August of 2014 after about 10 years of dating and share six kids, three of which are adopted: Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, and three of whom are biological: Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
