‘Bachelorette’ JoJo Fletcher Slips Up About Pre-Show Hookup With Jordan Rodgers, Faces Major Backlash At ‘Men Tell All’ Taping
JoJo Fletcher has denied that she had a relationship with Jordan Rodgers before taping got underway in March, but the 25-year-old Texas beauty can’t seem to keep her story straight. A slip-up during a recent television interview may prove that the rumors about her pre-show connection with Rodgers are true.

Although JoJo recently told ET! that she knew “just a tidbit” about Jordan before he arrived at the Bachelor Mansion because she “doesn’t follow football,” a comment she made during the Episode 2 ESPN group date was an obvious contradiction, something that may prompt some backlash when taping begins for the upcoming Men Tell All special next month.
“I’ve never spoken to him, never met him,” JoJo told ET. “[We had] no conversation, even on the Internet…I knew just that tidbit about him, but nothing else… [He is] Jordan Rodgers, brother of Aaron, so that’s what I knew going into it… I don’t follow football closely…”
During the group date that was filmed at ESPN headquarters, JoJo told SportsNation hosts Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley that she “loves sports.” Although she didn’t specifically say “football,” it’s clear from her Instagram history that she enjoys professional baseball, the NBA, and has attended a number of NFL games (photos below) to cheer on her hometown team, the Dallas Cowboys, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“For the second group date, JoJo proved she’s totally a guy’s girl that loves sports and took the men to the ESPN studios to meet SportsNation hosts Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley.”
Does JoJo know a little bit more about football — and NFL players, past and present — than she lets on? That’s not clear, but blogger Reality Steve is confident that she got to know contestant and former NFL player Jordan Rodgers before the show and “conveniently left out the part where they were in contact with each other before the show” during her interview with ET.
“Of course, she’s not going to admit they were in contact,” Reality Steve states. “That wouldn’t be smart of her, nor would they ever want her to acknowledge that happened. But it did. Again, if there were ever a court order done to turn over her phone, or she was hooked up to a lie detector test and asked the same question, she’d fail.”
It’s more than likely that the other 25 guys who were cast are just finding out about JoJo’s rumored pre-filming connection with Jordan. Spoilers point to the whole season being the “Jordan and JoJo show,” so finding out that they knew each other before the Bachelorette started filming in March could spark some interesting conversation — and accusations — when the Men Tell All airs on July 25.

Will the guys compare Jordan Rodgers to Nick Viall from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season when they get on stage and talk about the season with host Chris Harrison?
Intimate texts and L.A. hookups that reportedly happened between Kaitlyn and Nick didn’t sit well with the guys on her season, but they found out about their pre-show relationship during filming. The Jordan-JoJo connection wasn’t part of this season’s storyline, making it even worse for the guys who found out after they were eliminated.
Although Reality Steve has made some last-minute changes to his overnight date spoilers, he is still confident that JoJo will give her final rose to Jordan on the season finale. Did their connection before the show started filming give him an edge over the other guys?
Tune in to watch the remainder of JoJo’s season of the Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET, with the exception of Episodes 3 and 4 that will air back-to-back on June 6 and 7.
