Kathryn Dennis And Thomas Ravenel’s Baby Shower Photos Show Some, But Not All, Of ‘Southern Charm’ Co-Stars

The latest episode of Southern Charm that aired on Monday night showed the arrival of Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel’s second child. What viewers didn’t see was the co-ed baby shower thrown in honor of Kathryn just prior to her son’s birth. On Tuesday, Bravo released photos of the baby shower. The photos show Thomas in attendance, along with several other stars of the show.

Which of the Southern Charm stars made out for the party? Besides Thomas, the photos show Craig Conover, Craig’s girlfriend Naomie Olindo, Cameran Eubanks, Jennifer Snowden, Danni Baird, JD Madison, and his wife Elizabeth Madison, and K. Cooper Ray. Seemingly missing from the baby shower were Shep Rose, Landon Clements, Whitney Sudler-Smith, and Whitney’s mom Patricia Altschul. An older woman in some of the photos seems to be Thomas’ mother, Louise.

In celebration of the baby’s gender, the baby shower had a blue color scheme. There were lots of balloons, banners, streamers, flowers, and baby-inspired decorations all around. There was a sign-in poster and a large diaper tower. Treats included mini cupcakes with blue frosting, bite-sized cakes and pastries, and punch. The baby shower took place in Dani’s home.

Kathryn wore a green dress while Thomas, like the other male guests, wore a blue dress shirt and jeans.

One photo shows Craig taking part in a baby shower game which had him wearing a bib and drinking from a baby bottle. Another photo shows the women sitting around with spoons and paper.

Thomas and Kathryn’s daughter, Kensington, was also at the party. Several photos show Kensie being doted on by her parents and guests.

It’s not clear exactly who threw the baby shower and when it took place. Bravo only stated that “friends” threw it for Kathryn “right before” her son, St. Julien, was born. Neither Thomas nor Kathryn shared photos from the party when it happened on their social media accounts.

Why wasn’t the baby shower shown on Southern Charm? It would have been one of the few times where Kathryn was filmed interacting with several other cast members. Several times this season, Kathryn was left out of group gatherings because some of the other cast members declined to invite her. Despite her absence, she was often talked about. Some of the cast members have said some particularly nasty things about her in her absence, such as Whitney Sudler-Smith, who called her “a lying, crazy psychopath” who has “two kids out of wedlock.” Perhaps the baby shower wasn’t deemed dramatic and/or interesting enough since no one dared to say anything disparaging about Kathryn at her own baby shower?

In response to a viewer who asked why the shower wasn’t shown, Jennifer confirmed that it was filmed for the show. She added that she wishes it would have aired since it was a great party where “mostly” everyone was there and had fun.

On Wednesday, Cameran, who has received quite a bit of fan backlash for how she has treated Kathryn so far this season, complained about the baby shower party being edited out.

While the show didn’t show the baby shower, it did show Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel in the moments right before and after the birth of their son. On the latest episode, Thomas was shown dropping by Kathryn’s home with dinner the night before her inducement. On the morning of the inducement, Thomas took Kathryn to the hospital. Unlike so many of their scenes together, this one showed Thomas and Kathryn being kind to one another and behaving like a couple in love. They hugged in Kathryn’s home and later, in the car, they held hands. After St. Julien was born, Thomas stood proudly next to Kathryn as she lay in the hospital bed cradling their son.

In his confessional interview, Thomas said that he and Kathryn were brought together perhaps through divine intervention.

“For some reason, perhaps through divine intervention, we were brought together.”

Will viewers continue to see Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis at peace with one another? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Southern Charm Season 3 reunion show is filming in New York City soon. Will Kathryn and Thomas respect one another instead of lashing out, as happened on the Season 2 reunion show?
