Nia Guzman Claims Chris Brown Chased Her ‘For Years’ Before Daughter Royalty Was Born
Chris Brown may have put baby mama Nia Guzman on blast last week following the model’s attempts to alter her current custody agreement with Brown over their 2-year-old daughter, Royalty, but it looks like Guzman is now speaking out about her former romantic history with the singer while claiming that Brown chased her “for years” prior to Royalty’s birth in 2014.
Last week, Chris Brown and Nia Guzman made headlines after they exchanged heated words on Instagram concerning the outcome of their latest custody hearing, in which Guzman sought to restrict Brown’s custody over their daughter based on allegations concerning Chris’ drug use and gang affiliation.
According to TMZ, a judge denied Nia’s request to reduce the amount of contact that Chris Brown may have with Royalty in addition to rejecting the model’s request to hire a nanny to supervise Brown during his visitation days with their daughter. The judge upheld the duo’s current custody agreement, which states that Brown maintains joint legal and physical custody over Royalty in addition to being awarded unsupervised visitation with his daughter for 12 days out of each month.
Just one day after Chris and Nia’s court hearing, the model sat down for her first-ever interview to discuss her frustrations over trying to co-parent with Chris Brown while noting that she had “nothing positive” to say about her experience with the “Back To Sleep” singer, Latina.com reports.
In response to Nia’s interview, in which Guzman claims that Brown hasn’t been involved in raising their daughter since her birth in 2014, Chris Brown took to Instagram to slam Guzman’s accusations while suggesting that the mom-of-two is being “petty” as a result of losing their previous court battle.

“You lost the case and wanna be petty! I AINT FINNA EVEN TRIP OFF NOTHING SHE GONE SAY, DO, ETC…,” Chris Brown began in his comment as obtained by Baller Alert. “Can anyone tell me where this woman works? Can someone show proof of ownership on anything thing! I take care of damn near everyone in my life and I know I DO AMAZING WITH MY DAUGHTER! Just LIKE IM PAYING FOR The BDAY PARTY YOU ARE THROWING! 30k!!!!!!! Honestly act your age..That’s damn near 15 years older than me!”
Moments later, Nia Guzman also took to Instagram to defend herself against Chris Brown’s comments before suggesting that the singer had chased her “for years” prior to Royalty’s birth.
“Drug addict Mf! Get clean before u come for me! Go to a recital, go to a school function, go to a doctor appointment! YOU DO S***! Your MOTHER DOES IT ALL! Be a hands on father! Then come tell me about wtf I do! U CHASED ME FOR YEARS! Don’t forget!” Nia Guzman wrote in the comments section of Baller Alert‘s Instagram post regarding her spat with Chris Brown.
In response to Guzman’s claims suggesting that Chris Brown had pursued her for several years prior to their romance in 2014, fans took to Twitter to debate over the model’s comments in addition to offering their sympathy to Brown’s former girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, who called off her longtime relationship with the “Loyal” singer after learning that Brown had fathered a child with Guzman while they were still together.
One fan writes, “You chased her for years Chris? @chrisbrown *laughing-crying emoji*” while another fan continues, “Chris brown baby mama: ‘you chased me for years don’t forget’ with what…? A piñata? *laughing-crying emojis*.”
Similarly, another fan writes, “I don’t understand how Chris Brown could cheat on @karrueche,” while another fan notes, “Chris Brown had a thing with rihanna twice AND karrueche and yet he had a kid with Nia Guzman…Biggest sigh of life.”
