Tamar Braxton Breaks Down As She Breaks Her Silence Over ‘The Real’ Firing [Video]
Tamar Braxton is breaking her silence after being fired from The Real.
Braxton got seriously emotional while discussing her departure from the daytime talk show for the first time in a teaser for an upcoming episode of Braxton Family Values, set to air on WeTV on June 2, where Tamar can be seen in tears as she admits that she was “basically fired” after two seasons with the talk show.
The clip from the upcoming episode of the Braxton family reality show, titled “S*** Gets Real,” appears to show the moment Tamar revealed that she being let go from the series as she breaks down in tears and admits she “doesn’t know what [she] did” to lead to her being let go.

This is the first time Tamar has publicly spoken out about her leaving The Real since Braxton posted a cryptic message about being “stabbed in the back” by someone on her Instagram page on May 22.
“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted,” Tamar told fans on the photo sharing site, shortly after the news broke that she would not be returning to the daytime talk show. “I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it’s not in good taste to tell you who… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own.”
“Know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light,” Braxton continued in the cryptic caption. “Thank GOD HE HOLDS MY FUTURE AND MY HAND!… I am Tamar Braxton.”
Tamar Braxton then noted in the photo’s caption that she would be “taking a short break” from her social media pages and has not been active across any of her social media platforms since.
The Real issued a statement regarding Braxton leaving the show on May 22, which claimed that Tamar leaving the show was a mutual decision in order for her to focus on her music career.
“The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season,” a statement issued to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month claimed, revealing that Tamar “will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career.”
“Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future,” the statement added.
But while The Real claimed that Braxton is looking to focus on her music career, other reports are alleging that Tamar did not want to leave the show and was actually forced to leave the series by executive producer Rachel Miskowiec.
Bossip is claiming that it was Rachel who Braxton was referring to in her Instagram post and alleged that “she is the person who is behind Tamar getting fired” because of Tamar’s alleged frosty relationship with the rest of The Real crew.
The Daily Mail claimed last week that Rachel and the show’s producers final straw came when Tamar allegedly “exploded” behind-the-scenes of the show after losing a game during filming of a recent episode.
“It was an ugly scene … Tamar was genuinely upset she was losing the game,” a source told the site of Braxton. “She really acted out during the taping in front of the studio audience and then exploded behind the scenes once the show was done.”
The site’s source also alleged that Braxton had “frequent” outbursts while on The Real set throughout her two seasons with the show and also claimed that Tamar Braxton “was becoming unbearable to work with.”
