Who Is Wells Adams Of ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Season With JoJo Fletcher?

Wells Adams is one of the bachelors on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season with JoJo Fletcher, and fans may soon be buzzing about this contestant. He got a bit of airtime during the premiere and will be somewhat more visible as Season 12 progresses. What do viewers need to know about this contender?

As Reality Steve noted, Wells Adams is 31-years-old and is originally from Monterey, California. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where he works with 105.9 The Rock and Alt 98.3. Adams’ LinkedIn page notes that he is also the assistant program director and music director for both stations, and he does the morning hosting for 98.3 and the afternoon hosting for 105.9.

There is a strong “Bachelor Nation” contingent based in Nashville, including Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, which makes Bachelorette fans think that Wells could be one to watch this spring. Adams comes from a pretty big family, as he is said to have two brothers and two sisters. He has had an interest in radio since his high school days, and he graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Adams may have majored in broadcast journalism in college, but he also minored in English and public relations and incorporated an emphasis in blues anthropology as well. Wells says that he enjoys traveling, live music, playing the guitar, sports, and hunting, and in his ABC Bachelorette profile, he describes himself as being honest, witty, and competitive. It is clear from Adams’ social media pages that he has a love for dogs, and viewers are swooning over this contender.

This Bachelorette contestant does not have any tattoos, but he does tease that he has an enticing story about doing a cage dive in South Africa that involved a great white shark. The movies Back to the Future II, Play Misty for Me, and The Shawshank Redemption are listed as Wells’ favorites, and a safari in Africa is noted as the best trip he has ever taken.

Wells describes his ultimate date as one that involves “Really good tacos, a great live band, a walk around the city, and wine and cheese on my front porch as Otis Redding plays on my turn table.” He aims to be syndicated in radio, married, and a dad to a couple of kids within the next five years, and Reality Steve’s spoilers tease that he may be sticking around for a bit this spring.

Could Adams be the guy who scores JoJo Fletcher’s final rose in Season 12? Reality Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers have revealed the supposed scoop on that final rose ceremony already, but it will take a while for everything to be confirmed on that front. Wells’ posts on the 105.9 site do show a gap of activity from March 11 to April 19, so that does give Bachelorette fans a bit of a hint about how long he lasts. Even if he doesn’t win JoJo’s heart, it sounds very likely that he could get another shot at looking for love this summer on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3.

There have been rumors swirling when it comes to the sincerity factor with some of JoJo’s bachelors this spring. However, Bachelorette fans are buzzing about Wells and hope that he turns out to be one of the good guys when it comes to his reasons for joining the show. Adams seemingly will manage to charm Fletcher during some one-on-one time with her, and he may garner quite the fan base during his time on the series with JoJo this spring.
