Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Reveals Amber Heard’s Real Motives For Divorce

The divorce of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp may quickly become the celebrity break-up of the year, as each side raises the stakes step by step in an all out courtroom war, one which has already started to wage its first wars in the media.

On the heels of the news that Johnny Depp’s mother had passed away, Amber Heard filed for divorce and in such a way that news of the filing was leaked to the media almost immediately. Heard followed this up with a request for a restraining order and allegations that Depp had assaulted her with a cell phone. Amber claims Johnny has had a long history of abusing her in their 15 month marriage and Johnny has remained silent, until now.

Johnny Depp’s Lawyer Steps Forward To Repudiate Amber Heard’s Charges

The attorney representing Johnny Depp, Laura Wasser, has stepped up to defend Johnny against estranged wife Heard and her allegations of domestic abuse, which Depp’s lawyer says she has fabricated in a scheme to bilk Depp out of his money. Wasser says Amber planned her divorce from Johnny in way that she might financially benefit from the divorce. Ms. Wasser points out that Heard sought the restraining order and raised issues of domestic violence following the negative backlash news of her divorce from Depp garnered from the public. Depp’s lawyer says Heard is “attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”

Johnny’s attorney points out that Amber Heard is a successful model and actress, and, therefore, is capable of supporting herself.

On Friday, the restraining order was granted after Amber alleged that he had repeatedly hit her and bruised her face with an iPhone. Hours later, Heard posted a picture of herself partying in an L.A. nightclub, but, when a backlash of comments drew attention to the fact that her face was free of any bruises, Amber promptly deleted the photograph.

Heard claims that she has lived in fear of Johnny Depp throughout the course of their marriage and that Depp was often abusive towards her, particularly after he returned home from binge drinking.

“Johnny has a long-held and widely acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse. He has a short fuse,” Ms. Heard said in a statement made in her court filings. “He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life threatening to me.”

This isn’t Johnny Depp’s first rodeo. He’s been married before and his very first wife is stepping up to speak on his behalf, confirming what Depp’s considerably large fanbase already knows and that is that Johnny is not a violent man. Ms. Allison was married to Johnny from 1983 to 1985 and has maintained a long friendship with Mr. Depp through the years, proving that she may know Johnny as well as anyone, and she says she doesn’t believe Amber Heard’s accusations at all.

Lori says, whatever problems they may have had during their marriage, Johnny never once raised a hand to her and adds that she never even heard him scream at her. She describes Depp as a soft person and as someone who was kind to both people and to animals. Ms. Allison adds that Mr. Depp was kinder and more benevolent toward animals than most people are to their own children.

Johnny Depp has been unable to respond to Heard’s accusations, because he has been on a tour to promote Alice Through the Looking Glass, which is to be followed up with a concert with Johnny Depp’s Hollywood Vampires band. The group is set to play at the Rock in Rio Lisboa concert in Portugal.
