Chumlee Arrest Update: ‘Pawn Stars’ Fav Posts ‘I Love All Of You’ To Fans On Social Media

Wow. What a roller coaster three months for Pawn Stars fav Chumlee. He was arrested and booked on 19 counts, facing serious jail time. Thankfully, he is able to avoid jail due to a plea bargain. After this recent turmoil, an obviously relieved Chum is giving the love back to his loyal fans on social media! Meanwhile, these same loyal fans want to know, will Chumlee return to Pawn Stars?

First, Chumlee sent a message to his fans via Twitter. Doesn’t he (understandably) sound relieved and appreciative?

Fans of the super popular reality star must have a smile on their face as they read this!! But they also want to know, and keep asking him on social media whether or not he will return to Pawn Stars.

Do we get all picky and wonder if “should” means “will” return to Pawn Stars? Who knows? History Channel has remained mum during this entire ordeal. Rick Harrison, owner of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, and patriarch of the show has made it clear that they will support Chumlee in any way they can.

Chum doesn’t seem to be worried about the “should” be returning. He is back to his silly self! Chumlee took to Instagram and posted a couple of his goofball photos, sure to make his fans smile.

On March 9, police came to the house of Austin Lee Russell, Chumlee’s real name, on a sexual assault warrant. After the raid, he was arrested and charged for 19 counts. In his possession was a cornucopia of weapons and drugs. Included in his stash was 12 weapons-revolvers, handguns, shotguns and rifles-with only four registered in his name.

It should be noted that in the State of Nevada, registration is no longer a requirement for handguns and never for long-arms. In addition, Chum had over 131 grams of pot, as well as seven clear capsules of meth and 17 bars of Xanax, a rolled up dollar with some powered substance, a scale, clear baggies, a snorting device and rolling papers and smoking devices. Whew.

Just having that stash of drugs meant that the possession of this combination of drugs and weapons was very serious, as Chum was violating the law “prohibiting possession of a gun by a user or addict of any controlled substance.” Although the officers investigating the case did take blood samples from Chum and some bedding for testing, there were no subsequent charges made, as the original raid was for a sexual assault. Yet, there was a startling revelation that Chumlee had a “Chum Chum” room where there was a stripper pole. Fans were worried about the arrest and started to ask if Chumlee wold return to Pawn Stars?

Last week, on May 23, Chumlee appeared in court and pleaded guilty on one count of each of the drug and gun charges. He is forfeiting the evidence. As Chum’s excellent lawyers have worked out a plea deal with the court, the affable Pawn Star favorite will have three years of probation, where he will be required to report to a probation officer. During this time, Chumlee is also required to go through counseling. Chum will be going to a counselor, John Pacult, LCSW, whose website states that he specializes in sex offenders, amongst other counseling. As there are no sexual assault charges, fans wonder why this particular counselor was appointed to Chumlee? There has been no explanation regarding this. Perhaps when Chumlee returns to court on June 1, there will be more information from his attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld.

Now that life is back to normal, Chumlee wants to know, what are your “planes” for Memorial Day weekend?
