Nick Jonas Reveals Crush On Rihanna, Denies He’s Dating Lily Collins
Nick Jonas is opening up about his love life. The often tight-lipped pop star is admitting his celebrity crush, and whether or not he’s off the market.
Nick Jonas just revealed he was rejected by Rihanna, one of the most gorgeous women in music. Now that’s got to hurt. The 23-year-old singer admitted to The Sun that he tried to hit on the “Kiss It Better” singer, but he felt embarrassed when he found out that she wasn’t feeling him. The younger Jonas brother has taken the rejection quite well, though.
“I flirted with Rihanna once. It didn’t work – but it didn’t not work. It didn’t go anywhere but it was a great conversation.”
Even though his idea didn’t go as planned, Nick hasn’t lost hope on hooking up with the singer. He believes that it will hopefully open the door for a potential relationship with the sexy 28-year-old singer, despite the fact that she’s already entangled with rapper Drake and actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
“It laid a good foundation. [Drake and Rihanna] are supposed to be dating or in love, apparently.”
While Nick struck out on a date with Rihanna, he admits that he did get a whiff of the singer and says she smells “amazing,” in case you’re wondering.
“She smells amazing, that is one thing I can tell you. Everyone says it but I have actually smelt her now and it’s amazing.”
Earlier this year, the “Jealous” singer said that he finds it odd that the media and his fans are obsessed with his personal life. But Jonas is not letting it get him down. Instead, he sees it as amusing rather than annoying.
“It definitely sucks. It sort of feels like, on top of dealing with the situation with the person, you have to be thinking about other people’s opinion about it, and without all the information. The fact that people were intrigued by a 14 or 15-year-old’s relationships was strange to me. Now I think it makes a bit more sense. I think it’s kind of amusing, people’s interests. But it’s funny, because I think I live a pretty low-key life.”
Nick was recently linked to a series of Hollywood starlets and models in recent months, including actress Kate Hudson. But after a “year of being truly single,” Nick kind of hinted that he’s dating British actress Lily Collins. At least that’s what it sounded like. In his interview with The Sun, Nick said that since he’s been good friends with the daughter of Phil Collins, the two have decided to go on a series of dates in recent months.
Apparently, he’s been dating Collins around the same time that he was linked to Hudson. Jonas first met the brunette stunner in 2009 when they attended the Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles. While it sounds like a relationship is blossoming between Jonas and Collins, he admitted that they’re just having fun at the moment.
“We went out a couple of times. She is amazing. I’ve enjoyed meeting different people and spending time with people with all the cards on the table. All people need human interaction at some level. And at my age too, dating is important, getting to know yourself by meeting different people, seeing what it’s all about.”
However, Nick took to Twitter to deny the reports that he’s in a relationship with Lily.

He then lashed out at the British tabloid, writing, “Hate when liberties are taken for headlines.”
When it comes to his famous exes, Jonas revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he doesn’t stay in touch with them. He candidly revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his ex Oliva Culpo since last year. As for his first kiss, Miley Cyrus, Jonas said that he hasn’t spoken to her even though he follows the singer on social media.
