Last week, JoJo eliminated six guys — Nick S., Sal, Coley, Jake, Peter, and Jon — after handing out her first impression rose to Jordan Rodgers. This week, the men will remain in the mansion and the dates will take place in and around Los Angeles.
Who gets the first one-on-one date of the season? Spoilers point to Derek Peth getting the date card that includes a day out with JoJo in San Francisco that includes a picnic by the scenic Golden Gate Bridge.
WetPaint reports that the handsome 29-year-old, who was spotted out with JoJo by a fan when the episode was filmed in March, currently lives in New York City where he works as a Wall Street banker. All went well on the date; Derek ended up scoring the rose and is safe for another week.
According to ABC, six of JoJo’s guys (Christian, Alex, James Taylor, Chad, Jordan, and Nick B.) get to go on a group date to ESPN’s popular SportsNation, hosted by Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley. The hosts will help JoJo find her “perfect match,” but fans can expect Chad Johnson to kick the drama up a notch during one of the three competitive events that take place on this date. James Taylor is rumored to get the group date rose.
“One at a time each guy would go up, sit next to JoJo and Marcellus would ask questions,” Reality Steve states. “This is where the other guys started pointing out Chad was the villain, he’s roided out, he’s a bully… Chad would then step in and interrupt other guys time when they were 1-on-1 with JoJo during the press conference.”

The second group date is held at a firefighting training facility with ABC hinting that “one of the guys might need saving” as they compete for the group date rose. Although the names of all of the guys on the date have not been released, Reality Steve reveals that Grant, Robby, and Wells are three of the ten suitors who compete for the group date rose.
Wells “almost passes out” during the training exercises and although spoilers point to Grant winning the competition, JoJo gives Wells the group date rose at the post-date party. Was that a pity rose for hanging in there?
Who goes home and who moves on to the Bachelorette Week 3? Wells, James T., and Derek are all safe with the roses they received on their dates. Spoilers point to JoJo sending James S., Will, and Brandon home after the Week 2 cocktail party. That leaves just 17 guys to move on for another week of dates and drama that will be highlighted by an oh-so-interesting sex-talk group date.
