Michelle Fields, Adam Carolla Isn’t Buying Your Trump Assault Story

Michelle Fields is the former Breitbart reporter covering Donald Trump on the campaign trail. She made headlines earlier this year for accusing the GOP frontrunner’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, of assaulting her.

When video evidence failed to back up the severity of Fields’ claims, charges were dropped against Lewandowski, and Fields left Breitbart for not “standing by me.”

The liberal website Huffington Post recently bailed Michelle Fields out of her joblessness, but that put her in the sights of comedian Adam Carolla during the Gina Grad news segment of his daily podcast.

Carolla’s criticisms were beyond blunt as he called her a “crazy b****” and when informed of Breitbart not standing by her story, said, “Good, f*** her.”

Breitbart took the chance to do a victory lap on Tuesday by posting some of the transcript from Carolla’s show.

When Grad quoted the Michelle Fields’ quote in which she explained her reasons for jumping ship at Breitbart — “I can’t stand by an organization that won’t stand by me” — the funnyman and former co-host of Loveline and The Man Show had this to say.

“Why should we stand by this crazy b****? Nothing happened to her and she’s turning herself into a victim, which I get the new narrative. Again, not a big fan of turning everyone into victims. Never seen any victims have success. As a matter of fact you can’t have success if you’re a victim. You know, I’m a super successful self-made victim. We make you into a victim and then you cannot have success.”

Carolla saw the Michelle Fields case as a microcosm for what is wrong with the world today, ranting that the more people are convinced they’re victims, “the less successful people we’re going to have.”

Adam blamed the media for convincing everyone they’re a victim and making it “a full-time gig,” continuing in one of his common rage-filled rants.

“It’s a weird thing to me because I thought the whole deal was… when somebody has a physical injury, disability — when somebody says I’ve lost a limb, nobody says, ‘Well call it a life. Would you like to eat a bullet or would you like to poison yourself?’ No, everyone goes, ‘That’s all right. That’s OK. You’re going to have to work twice as hard as the guy next to you. But we’ll get into rehab, we’ll get into stuff together and you’re still going to have a good life.”

Emotional victims, Carolla said, such as people who were born to poor families or “the wrong skin tone or maybe the wrong gender or sexual proclivity,” are in contrast treated like they are “ruined for life.”

“You can never get ahead in our society or some guy in a f****** blazer touched you on the shoulder and you’re broken now?” Carolla said.

Adam is well-known for his controversial remarks, recently tearing into the L.A. Unified School District and educators in general as communists building a “socialist paradise” out of the public education system.

Born into poverty himself and a child of divorce, Carolla was a self-made man, who worked construction and taught boxing for a number of years before meeting Jimmy Kimmel and becoming a frequent collaborator culminating in the aforementioned series The Man Show on Comedy Central.

He followed that with Crank Yankers before jumping to radio and later podcasting.

His views on the podcast are often libertarian and anti-high taxes with a liberal bent on social issues.

His takedown of Michelle Fields and her claims toward Lewandowski were not altogether unexpected though the level of vitriol was a little surprising.

Fields has not responded on her official Twitter account. But what do you think, readers?
