Nyle DiMarco Joining ‘The Bachelor’? ‘DWTS’ Champ Talks About The Possibilities
Nyle DiMarco is still high on life after an incredible season of Dancing With The Stars. Not only did DiMarco overcome some serious challenges as a deaf contestant, but he also proved that the sky is the limit no matter what. If you put your mind to something you want to achieve, and you work hard to achieve it, you can do it. DiMarco was proud to show the world that his disability wasn’t going to stop him.
Of course, DiMarco had the best teacher in Peta Murgatroyd, who was patient with Nyle and really brought out the best in him. The two became incredibly close during the season, which proved to be just as emotional as it was rewarding.
Winning the Mirror Ball trophy was a huge accomplishment for DiMarco, who isn’t a stranger to coming in first place on reality competition shows. The handsome 27-year-old also won America’s Next Top Model Cycle 22 last year. According to Us Weekly, DiMarco may not be done with reality television.
During a post-DWTS interview, the American model/actor was asked if he’d consider joining ABC’s The Bachelor (if the opportunity presented itself to him) in order to find love. DiMarco said it may be a challenge, but didn’t shoot down the idea.
“I mean, I don’t know. Let’s see if they reach out to me and see what happens. We’ll see what happens. I think it’s funny because it would be kind of awkward to have an interpreter involved during the whole thing,” said DiMarco. He then added quite a clever joke. “[The fantasy suite] would be a triangle,” he said.
While Nyle DiMarco probably won’t be asked to join The Bachelor, there could be other amazing opportunities that come his way and he seems like he’d be up for another challenge.

While going on The Bachelor may not be an ideal way for him to find love, DiMarco doesn’t seem like he is in any kind of a rush to settle down.
“It’s not one of my priorities. I’ve been so busy lately. It’s been career first,” he said. However, he does know what he’d be looking for in a partner, if the right person just happened to come along. “I think they have to be independent. I think that’s the most important. [And] be able to communicate and be outgoing and love to go out,” DiMarco said.
People really seem to love Nyle DiMarco and watching him find love on television would undoubtedly be sweet. However, fans would love to watch Nyle do just about anything. For so many, it has been such a joy to watch him achieve greatness on Dancing With The Stars. If you didn’t watch America’s Next Top Model or know who Nyle DiMarco was a year ago, chances are you’re pretty clear on the name now.
