Peta Murgatroyd Baby News: Erin Andrews Spilled The Beans By Mistake [Report]

Peta Murgatroyd is pregnant with her first child, but a new report indicates that the news wasn’t supposed to be revealed just yet. According to TMZ, Dancing With The Stars co-host Erin Andrews spilled the beans accidentally. Basically, Erin went over to Peta and her beau, Maks Chmerkovskiy, to congratulate them, not realizing that her mic was still on when she did. Oops.

Everyone in the studio audience (or within earshot of a speaker) presumably heard Erin exchange words with Peta — and then the couple’s sweet secret was out.

Sources say that Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are very upset with Erin Andrews’ carelessness because they weren’t ready to share their baby news with the world just yet. It was reported that there were still family members and friends that the couple hadn’t told before Erin’s mistake. Now, just about everyone knows.

TMZ reports that Erin Andrews tried to keep things light, playing off her major mistake and trying to laugh about it, but the husband-and-wife-to-be aren’t happy. In fact, Erin’s attempt to make a joke out of her mistake angered Peta and Maks even more.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Peta Murgatroyd’s pregnancy became a focus hours after she and dance partner Nyle DiMarco were crowned champions on Dancing With The Stars.

Even still, fans are so excited to Peta and Maks, who became engaged in December. The two dated in 2012 and in 2013, but parted ways before rekindling their love a couple of years later. They dated through 2015 before Maks got down on one knee at a Sway performance in Miami. He popped the question in front of the couple’s dance family, which was really special for them all.

Peta Murgatroyd didn’t make her pregnancy the focus of her season with Nyle. She kept quiet, focusing on her partner, who danced beautifully despite being deaf. Peta is believed to be two to three months along in her pregnancy, but you’d never know it the way she kept working and kept putting Nyle first these past few weeks!

By the Dancing With The Stars finale, Peta was just starting to show, but she and Maks reportedly had other plans when it came to sharing their exciting news with the world. Check out Peta’s tiny baby bump in the photo below.

Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy still haven’t made mention of their special news. Their respective social media accounts have been dedicated to other things. Peta is still completely focused on her Mirror Ball win, soaking it all up with the very deserving Nyle DiMarco. Maks has moved on to promote some other things that he’s doing at this point, waiting until a later time to talk about his personal life with Peta.

No word yet on whether Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy will get married before their baby arrives — or if Erin Andrews will be invited to the wedding. While she may have made a “simple” mistake, she really ruined a very special moment for Peta and Maks, providing that the TMZ report is true, that is.

According to People Magazine, Peta recently said that she’d like to start having children “pretty soon.”

“I would like to start pretty soon. A little boy, and then a little girl,” she told the mag after getting engaged. So far, her wishes this year seem to be coming true!
