Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Getting Married? He Responds To Pregnancy Reports

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been going strong for months, but are they ready to get married?

While rumors have been swirling in regard to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s future for months now, the couple has not yet announced any plans to wed, nor has Stefani debuted an engagement ring. That said, an engagement may not be far off.

According to a report by Hollywood Take on May 23, fans everywhere are wondering when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, who began dating last year while filming The Voice Season 9, will tie the knot, and judging by recent reports, they could become engaged at any moment.

Over a month ago, a source told Us Weekly that Shelton was ready to propose to Stefani after just months of dating. According to a source, Stefani is everything Shelton wants, and her children have only sweetened the deal. The report also spoke of Shelton’s desire to have children of his own, claiming that while Stefani is 46, she is willing to try.

Although Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may be excited about the possibility of starting a family together, fans shouldn’t expect Stefani to become pregnant any time soon. After all, she’s set to go on tour in July and will continue doing shows until October. At the same time, Shelton is hard at work promoting his new album and tending to his duties with The Voice, which begins production on Season 11 in just a few months.

Earlier this week, Blake Shelton spoke out about his romance with Stefani.

“I just like being with her, but when she’s all dolled up and we go places, it’s always fun for me,” he told Entertainment Tonight, according to a report by Us Weekly on Tuesday, May 24. “If she was here right now, not one person here would be looking at anybody else but her. It’s just cool to know that’s who I came here with. That’s basically what [my new song ‘A Guy With a Girl’] is about.”

In his song “A Guy With a Girl,” Shelton sings, “I’m just the guy with the girl everybody wants to know / Wishin’ you were there alone / Wonderin’ how I ever got your little hand in mine / Lookin’ over at ya like, ‘Ain’t she beautiful?'”

In addition to “A Guy With a Girl,” Shelton included several other tracks on his album which were inspired by his relationship with Stefani, most notably “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which they co-wrote.

“If she is ever at one of my shows or I’m at one of her shows, we got to do [‘Go Ahead and Break My Heart’],” Shelton said of the track, which he and Stefani sang on The Voice earlier this month and at the Billboard Music Awards just days ago.

Also during his interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shelton spoke of Stefani’s three children, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, whom he’s been spending tons of time with in Los Angeles and in his hometown in Oklahoma.

“When they come out there, I don’t see them much because if they’re at my place in Oklahoma, they’re in the woods,” he joked.

As for the possibility of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton starting a family of their own, Shelton had nothing but jokes.

“I read that we’re having twins in the latest tabloid, and I think you can fit two humans in there,” Shelton joked in a nod to his own stomach. “Maybe three in there!”
