Shakira Doesn’t Want To Marry Baby Daddy Gerard Piqué

Shakira has no plans on marrying her baby daddy Gerard Piqué and she wants the world to know it. The singer is probably sick and tired of media poking into her private life to see if she will have a blowout party, in which she gets officially wedded to the football player. Turns out, she will not make the paparazzi’s dream come true with a marriage and rings.

“Colombian songstress Shakira said Saturday in her native city of Barranquilla that she has no plans to marry Barcelona soccer star Gerard Piqué and dismissed recent rumors that she is expecting her third child,” reports Fox News.

“For now there is no plan for a wedding nor am I pregnant,” the singer said. “We’re very happy the way we are, and for now there are no plans for marriage.”

The 39-year-old singer did not hold back on firing at paparazzi for disturbing her peace.

“And because I have paparazzi at my door going through the garbage to see if they can find any proof of pregnancy, let me make it clear: I’m not pregnant, so they can go home and wash their little hands,” she said.

One of the reasons that she has no plans to wed or to have another baby is that she is now trying to focus on a career that she had hit a pause button on to have a family.

“I’ve been taking a temporary license away from music for my kids, justified by them,” Shakira said according to Belfast Telegraph. “And the truth is that it was healthy… But the reality is that it is vital for me, and this is who I am – music is in the very fibre of my being. And I need to get back to it, so my kids are going to have to excuse me for a little bit.”

But her baby boys and family continue to be a big part of her life, even as she reorients herself towards music. She recently posted a picture of baby Sasha, showing her fans how big he has gotten.

In fact, her baby boy is very much into the music that she keeps playing. Maybe they will soon feature in one of her own tracks.

“It’s hard to keep a balance,” she said. “I think it’s one of the biggest challenges that women have today. We have to do so many things – be mothers, be professionals, be girlfriends, and keep it all together, juggling everything around.”

But it’s time for a big celebration as she has a new single coming out this Friday.

“The real version of ‘La Bicicleta’ (The Bicycle), the new single by Colombian stars Carlos Vives and Shakira, will drop this Friday (May 27),” reports Billboard. “Meantime, here’s the single cover art. It’s a vintage-style photo that looks like an old vinyl cover, shot (presumably) on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. The video for ‘La Bicicleta’ was shot there too, between Barranquilla (Shakira’s home town) and Santa Marta (Vives’ home town).”

And when time allows, she tries to spend as much time as she can with her baby daddy Gerard Piqué.

“She is a globally-successful singer as well as a mother and wife,” reports Daily Mail. “So it’s fitting that Shakira should enjoy a rare day off to spend with footballer husband Gerard Piqué and their adorable son, Milan, this week. The blonde beauty, 39, was spotted out and about in Barcelona on Thursday where she appeared to keep a low profile.”
