Anna Faris’ Baby Boy Enters The World

Anna Faris’ baby boy entered the world on Saturday, August 25. A representative for Faris and husband Chris Pratt announced the birth of the child.

The couple’s rep tells Us Weekly:

“Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack. He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.”

Earlier this month the 35-year-old The Dictator star and her 33-year-old Parks and Recreation star hubby said they were “thrilled” to be expanded their family with the arrival of their first child. According to an insider:

“They planned for this baby and now seemed as good of a time as ever. They really will be the best parents.”

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt wed in 2009 and sources close to the couple say they have always been excited about starting the next chapter of their lives together and were just waiting and planning for the right time.

According to US Weekly Pratt is most excited to “have a little guy to teach guitar.”

The happy couple first announced that Anna Faris’ baby boy was on the way in May during the premiere of The Dictator. The couple have not yet revealed if they plan to expand their family in the future.
