Johnny Depp Releases Statement After Divorce, Star Files To Remove Spousal Support — Was Amber Heard Cheating on Him?

The shocking news about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s recent divorce has just startled the entire entertainment industry. Just after 15 months of being married, Heard pulled the plug and decided to leave the Pirates of the Caribbean star behind. Though Heard has been scrutinized by the public by coming in between Depp and his long-time wife, speculations arise as to why she decided to break up.

Though Johnny Depp has been quiet since the public announcement, he took the opportunity to voice his thoughts on the matter. Speaking to People, Depp said that this has been a very difficult time for him considering that his mother just died recently.

“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

The couple has just been in a battle with the Australian government for illegally bringing their pets on their private plane. This was a very shocking announcement for everyone since the two have just appeared on a public apology video that the Australian government asked them to do.

There were no apparent signs of disturbance between the couple and nobody thought they were even having marital problems.

Ironically, multiple sources are coming out one by one to give clarity to the issue.

According to Fishwrapper, Amber Heard has been truly suspicious since the beginning of their relationship. As most people know, Johnny Depp allegedly goes into a midlife crisis depression and this could be the reason why he gave up his relationship to the mother of his children, Vannessa Paradis, to get married with Heard.

A source confirmed what people cannot pinpoint in their relationship. Apparently, Amber Heard was already having second thoughts since the time they got engaged.

“Before Amber met Johnny she was just a regular super cool hipster chick living with roommates who dated girls. At their engagement party she kind of got cold feet… she was just like what is this scene and what am I doing here? She kind of couldn’t believe it was her life now,” said the source.

Another source also told People back in December of 2014 that even though the two were crazy in love, they were not giddy to get married yet because “there is turmoil in the relationship.” Johnny Depp’s friend also added that he feels “[Heard] is not really ready to settle down.”

Other reports suggest that the uncertainty on Heard’s part could be caused by another lover, her ex, Taysa Van Ree.

Just a day after the divorce, her ex posted a photo of a horse that looked exactly like Arrow, the horse Johnny Depp bought Amber Heard. Heard and Taysa dated for four years until they broke up in 2012, the same year Amber Heard and Johnny Depp began dating.

As for the divorce, Johnny Depp is looking to finish the legal process as soon as possible. With his $400 million net worth, Johnny Depp reportedly responded to Amber Heard’s claim on spousal support and asked the court to deny the request this Wednesday.

Generally, the couple filed for “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. It was reported that both of them have strong personalities that they do not really see “eye to eye” most of the time.

So far, Heard has not released any statement yet on Depp’s refusal to provide spousal support.
