Gator Queen Liz is now speaking out and sharing about her daughter Jessica’s battle with substance abuse. This is something that nobody even knew was going on, but Liz herself shared the details. Liz went to her Facebook page and shared what is going on with Jessica and that things are actually looking up for her now. This mom didn’t hold back at all when revealing her daughter’s struggles.

Liz explained that her daughter, Jessica, has been dealing with this battle for a while now, but she is now really proud of her. Gator Queen Liz revealed that Jessica is now 101 days sober and doing great.
“I have to say this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever dealt with and will probably deal with this with Jess for the rest of my life. This is not just a drug, it’s a DISEASE, NOT JUST JESS BUT hundreds of thousands of people families struggle, it is a family DISEASE.”
After that, Gator Queen Liz went on to explain that if you know someone fighting with substance abuse to get help and that they can beat it too. Liz also commented on the post saying that you can see Jessica’s beautiful blue eyes once again. She also showed a picture of Jessica’s daughter, saying that this is what will pull her through this all. Her daughter was born in September of 2015. Liz is constantly posting pictures of her new grandbaby and is obviously a very proud grandma.

Starcasm shared back in December of 2015 that Gator Queen Liz Cavalier and her daughter, Jessica, were both cut from Swamp People . Fans voiced their opinions about this and they were not happy, but Liz was not brought back on the show again. At the time, Liz was very upset and went to her Facebook page to share her thoughts.
“Due to unknown reasons by the production company ‘Original Media’ my family and myself, along with other original cast members, besides Jeromy and David, will no longer be participating in the Swamp People series, starting with season 7. It saddens me to know that our fans are the ones who will suffer from these unexplained actions by the new management of this production company. REALITY. We will continue with our regular lives and hope to stay connected with all of you in the future. To all of my fans, with love, GatorqueenLiz.”
Even though Swamp People continues to air new episodes, Gator Queen Liz and her daughter, Jessica, are not on the show. There was a lot of talk that the show was going to be canceled, but then it ended up being renewed for one more season at least. Some fans had hoped that Liz would return, but she is still gone from the show. There doesn’t seem to be any chance that she will return again and the show probably lost a few fans over it.
Hopefully, Gator Queen Liz will keep updating her fans about what is going on with her daughter, Jessica. Right now, things are looking really good for her, and fans are wishing them the best on Facebook. The fact that Liz is sharing this about her daughter had to be hard, but she has faith that she will win this battle with substance abuse. Things are looking great so far for Jessica.
