Jamie Dornan Prioritizes Wife And Baby Over ‘Fifty Shades Darker’
Now that the intense parts of Fifty Shades Darker are done, Jamie Dornan is spending quality time with his family. Despite the fact that the actor has not yet wrapped up the filming, he was seen prioritizing his wife Amelia Warner and his baby over spending time with his co-star Dakota Johnson.
“Jamie Dornan’s eldest daughter Dulcie seems to be finding a way to stand out, now that she’s a big sister,” reports Daily Mail. “The two-year-old looked adorable in a Cinderella dress-up costume as the family were pictured for the first time as a four-piece on Tuesday. Doting dad Jamie held onto an excited Dulcie’s hand in Vancouver, Canada, while wife Amelia carried their newborn, who the couple are thought to have welcomed just two months ago.”

It turns out that he also enjoys very much hands-on approach towards parenting. He was seen carrying a car seat with his baby in it in the streets of Vancouver.
As Fifty Shades Darker filming went into its second month of filming, the Irish actor was seen with his wife more frequently. The fact that she had his second baby just days before he had to fly to Canada to start shooting meant that it was only a matter of time before she joined him in North America.
Most recently, Jamie and his wife Amelia were seen having a sweet sushi dinner in the west coast city, a date destination that was much more intimate and quiet than the concert venue they chose weeks before.
“Jamie Dornan steps out for a sushi dinner with his wife Amelia Warner on Thursday (May 12) in Vancouver, Canada,” reports Just Jared. “The 34-year-old actor, who is in town filming the next two movies in the Fifty Shades franchise, was also joined by his mother-in-law Annette.”
Her visit came right after he had completed shooting the intensely sexy scenes for the Fifty Shades sequel. The fact that he and Dakota Johnson won a Razzie Award for the worst onscreen chemistry probably inspired them to step up the game this time around.
“While speculation has continued to circulate regarding the lackluster chemistry between Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) in Fifty Shades Darker, a new report suggests that the actors are now sizzling on set,” reports Heavy.
The word on the street is that they are filming both sequels at the same time so it’s now or never!
While Jamie Dornan is retreating into fatherhood and delighting his wife and baby daughters, “spending his day off at Toys R Us for their enjoyment,” according to Daily Mail, his co-star Dakota Johnson is getting more and more involved in erotic films.
“Dakota Johnson had no qualms about stripping down for her latest big-screen outing,” which is is an erotic thriller starring Tilda Swinton Ralph Fiennes and Matthias Schoenaerts, according to Chicago Sun Times.
But that doesn’t mean that Jamie is totally checked out on the set. He is still having a whale of a time with Dakota, enjoying every moment of luxury and fantastical romantic play.
“Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were enjoying the perks of the job on Thursday while filming Fifty Shades Darker,” reports Daily Mail. “The actors were spotted on a luxury yacht in Vancouver, Canada while taking part in a nighttime shoot. Dakota, 26, and Jamie, 33, made a stunning pair in black-tie formal wear.”
Seeing how he has not announced his next film project, it looks like when Fifty Shades Darker wraps up, he will concentrate on delighting on the first few weeks with his newborn as well as his toddler daughter Dulcie.
