Gwen Stefani Gets Candid About Her ‘Shocking’ Romance With Blake Shelton, But What About That Massive Diamond?

Gwen Stefani was just as shocked as anyone else about her duet with Blake Shelton.

During an interview with ET Online, Stefani opened up about her duet with Shelton on The Voice.

“Anytime I’ve ever collaborated with anyone, it’s always my favorite,” Stefani shared. “But to do something with him — because he’s so talented and comes from such a different world — to make music together, it was just so shocking! So amazing to do it live and share it with everybody.”

Stefani and Shelton sang their track, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” during last week’s episode of The Voice. It was their first collaboration with each other and first duet.

The No Doubt frontwoman and the country star are set to sing together again this weekend during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. However, just because they’ve booked another stage appearance doesn’t mean they are practicing for it.

“We’re not. We probably should!” Stefani admitted about rehearsing. “It was amazing doing that song live [on The Voice]. It’s incredible to do.”

Stefani is coming off the release of her latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, which dropped back in March. The album has been well-received.

“I prayed for that, I promise you,” Stefani continued. “I just so badly wanted to make something good out of something bad. I had to. I knew that that was my duty.”

Gwen Stefani divorced her longtime husband Gavin Rossdale this summer amid rumors that he cheated with the nanny. The two had been together for 13 years before their separation. Fortunately, Stefani started dating Shelton a few months after her breakup and hasn’t looked back since.

According to Brides, Stefani was spotted wearing a diamond ring during her performance at Wango Tango in Los Angeles. Is she already engaged to Shelton?

Based on the ring Stefani wore on her wedding finger, it appears as though Shelton may have popped the big question. The ring contained a band of diamonds that fans were quick to notice.

Stefani and Shelton have been together since November. Since then, the two lovebirds have been pretty open about sharing their love with fans. This includes more than one instance of PDA and a couple of public appearances.

Most recently, their love and chemistry were put on full display during their duet on The Voice.

“When they were introduced to the stage, Blake gently touched her lower back, helping her up the stairs,” a source explained to People. “The moment he saw her, he couldn’t help but smile. The two shared plenty of sweet, intimate moments during their performance, barely breaking eye contact. When it came to singing, you could tell they were very much in the moment. Once the song finished, Blake embraced Gwen with a hug and a long kiss on the forehead.”

Based on their obvious chemistry and love for each other, it is not surprising that Stefani and Shelton are already engaged. That being said, neither star has officially announced any wedding plans.

Meanwhile, Business Standard is reporting that Stefani recently posted an image of herself on Instagram without any makeup. The image was apparently a pic that Stefani sent to Shelton, though fans certainly enjoyed it as well.

“I was just like laying there, I just got in bed and I was like, ‘Maybe I’ll send a picture to Blake,'” the “Misery” singer explained. “You just start doing like fooling around with it. I had actually a new camera on my phone and I just took that picture.”

Stefani is well known for her bold makeup choices and vivid styles. Fortunately for fans, they glimpsed what she looks like without all the makeup.
