UFO Sightings 2016: Did Turkish Pilots Really See A UFO With Green Lights?
Pilots from Turkish Airlines were flying from Turkish resort Town of Bodrum to the country’s largest city, Istanbul, when they saw a mysterious green light over their plane. Late on May 19, a strange object flashing green lights flew over their plane, stirring speculation about a “UFO sighting,” Harriet Daily News reported.
“An unidentified object with green lights passed 2 to 3,000 feet above us. Then it disappeared all of a sudden. We are guessing that it was a UFO,” the two pilots told the Air Traffic Control Center at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport.
The UFO was reported to be seen around Istanbul’s Silivri district. The object and the mysterious green light were spotted when the plane was flying at around 17,000 feet above sea level at around 11:30 p.m. on May 19, according to the pilots.

The plane landed at Atatürk Airport around 30 minutes later. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority denied spotting any image that fitted the description of the pilot.
The doubters are claiming that this is a case of error in judgement. They are dismissing pilot’s claim, saying that there’s a good chance that the refraction off the cockpit glass would make it appear as though there was an object above them.
Many people also have claimed that someone hit the cockpit with one a green laser pointer and the pilots couldn’t figure out where it came from. But for the pilots to report that a green-lit object passed over them and disappeared would suggest an exposure of a few seconds at least, if not more. Pilots do not report fleeting flashes of light as UFOs. Also, almost all pilots are familiar with laser pointers and have had experience with them being shined at their airplanes. This object must have been visible for a few seconds, which makes a laser pointer very unlikely, especially at that altitude.
Other people are also claiming that this could be an atmospheric phenomenon.
This is the latest UFO sighting reported. Many people have claimed to have spotted UFO in 2016. Recently, The Inquisitr reported that a mysterious aircraft flew over Australia with speed more than 100 times the speed of terrestrial aircrafts.
A major news website from New Zealand reported that a man using flight tracking app on his phone witnessed something unusual. He saw an aircraft move way faster than the rest. The website also reported that traffic cameras in Australia captured a mysterious flying object streaking across New South Wales from the ocean.
In another recent UFO sighting in 2016, a bizarre video filmed in Alaska shows an alien encounter that splits into three parts. The footage was captured by Jared A, a YouTube user, and it shows an orb-like light object floating in the sky.
As it blinked, he focused his camera and was shocked. Afterward, the orb split into two to send another golden light hovering through the sky. The orb once again broke a few moments later, but instead of two, it split into three this time, with two lights shooting down to the ground.

Of course, there have been doubters for all of these cases, but in the light of recent events, the belief of believers has only been fueled. The Inquisitr recently reported that Obama could be on the brink of alien and UFO disclosure and could make his announcement before end of his term.
