Who Is Grant Kemp Of ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Season Featuring JoJo Fletcher?

Grant Kemp is one of the bachelors on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season this spring with JoJo Fletcher. It sounds as if Kemp may be stirring up a bit of buzz as the new season kicks into gear, and viewers will certainly want to know more about this contestant. What do fans need to know about Grant?

As blogger Reality Steve Carbone details, Grant Kemp currently lives in the San Francisco, California, area. This Bachelorette contestant works as a firefighter, but he does a bit of modeling as well. He seems to be a very confident bachelor, and it sounds as if he will be generating quite a bit of buzz this spring as JoJo Fletcher searches for the man of her dreams.

Kemp’s LinkedIn page details that he attended the El Camino Fire Academy at El Camino College in California, where he got an associate’s degree in fire technology. He also has gone to paramedic school and pursued further education on fire technology and paramedicine.

Grant started working as a wildland firefighter for the United States Forest Service in March 2009, and he worked as an emergency medical technician and ambulance operator over the years as well. This Bachelorette contestant shifted back over to firefighting in January 2013 and has been a firefighter-paramedic with the Hayward fire department since March 2014.

This bachelor has a profile up on Model Mayhem and with the Look Modeling Agency as well, and he notes that he has done some modeling work on and off over the years. Kemp popped up in an article in the East Bay Times that addressed some changes made in Alameda County where paramedics could make some judgment calls on rerouting patients they were assisting during 911 calls, and there is no doubt that Grant will stand out during this Bachelorette season.

Kemp seems to be close to his mom, as he recently posted a photo on Instagram showing him heading out to lunch with her. This Bachelorette contestant also posted a photo with his grandmother back around Christmas, noting that they were headed to a holiday party together.

It looks like Grant did have a significant other last fall, but there has been nothing else with her posted for several months now. Show host Chris Harrison mentioned this bachelor as one of his five Bachelorette contestants to watch in his teasers via Yahoo TV. Chris did reference this recently failed relationship of Kemp’s, hinting that it was an ugly split and that it may well impact Grant’s experience on the show.

Grant has done some bodybuilding competitions in the past, and his ABC profile notes that he has quite a few tattoos on his upper body. Kemp says that while he is typically laid back, he can be a party-starter as well. He describes himself as being thoughtful, and he likes to make people smile.

This Bachelorette contestant has some kind of wild story to tell about evading police on an ATV in Mexico, and he revealed that his favorite movies include the original Ninja Turtles, The Bourne Identity, and Home Alone. It sounds as if Kemp is definitely a charmer, but will he be able to charm JoJo as she looks for love?
