Luke Pell Next ‘Bachelor’? Chris Harrison Says ‘He Is The Whole Package’
Contestant Luke Pell is destined to turn into a fan favorite on JoJo Fletcher’s season of the Bachelorette, but will he win JoJo Fletcher’s heart or move on to become the next Bachelor and hand out his own set of roses?

If what host Chris Harrison says is true, viewers will be seeing a lot more of the 31-year-old war veteran and country music artist in the coming months.
“Luke is one of my favorite guys this season,” Chris tells Yahoo! “He was a platoon leader in the Afghan war and he also has the ridiculous Hollywood leading man good looks. He is smart, kind, and charming. He is the whole package.”

Is “the whole package” enough to earn Luke the final rose or is Chris hyping up the Texas native because he is in line to become the next Bachelor?
Spoilers for this season suggest that Luke would be the perfect fit for ABC’s next leading man. Here’s why.
One of 26 men who will arrive at the Bachelor Mansion on the May 23 season premiere, Luke rides up on a horse instead of going the traditional route and taking a limo to greet JoJo. Although spoilers indicate that arriving on a white horse didn’t earn him the first impression rose, blogger Reality Steve states that Luke, along with Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes, made it to the overnight dates that were filmed in Thailand earlier this month. On Thursday, Steve revealed that JoJo eliminated Luke after his overnight date in the Fantasy Suite, putting him in third place this season — a very good spot to be in for any contestant who loses out on the girl but would consider becoming the next Bachelor.
In recent seasons, the contestant who is picked to become the next Bachelor or Bachelorette is typically the person who ends up in third or fourth place. JoJo was Bachelor Ben Higgins’ runner-up, but that’s not the norm when it comes to picking a lead for the Bachelor or Bachelorette.

Ben, who was a fan favorite during Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette, was one of her final three guys. Just like Luke, he was eliminated during the overnight dates leaving Nick Viall and Shawn Booth to battle it out for the final rose.
Kaitlyn placed third on Chris Soules’ season of the Bachelor, and Chris was the third place guy on Andi Dorfman’s season of the Bachelorette. Keeping with that third place tradition, Andi was one of three girls who made it to overnights with Bachelor Juan Pablo in 2014 and left the show in third place.
Sounds like a win-win situation for Luke Pell, especially if fans take a liking to the handsome guy who served as a platoon leader in the War in Afghanistan in 2007 and went on to built a successful music career.
Although spoilers point to Jordan Rodgers getting engaged to JoJo at the final rose ceremony, Reality Steve states that the former pro-football player went on the show to become the next Bachelor but may have realized that his chances of landing a job as a sports broadcaster would be increased if he won JoJo’s final rose.
“Jordan made it known to those close to him that his plan going into the season was to get as far as he can, then eliminate himself so he could be the Bachelor,” Steve states. “He [then] realizes how much better he’ll look with JoJo as an engaged couple.”
If spoilers are correct, Jordan will propose to JoJo on the season finale that will air in July. Runner-up and controversial contestant Robby Hayes seems to be well-suited to become a contestant on Bachelor in Paradise this summer, leaving Luke Pell as a strong contender to score the Bachelor 2017 gig.
Before that decision is made, fans will have to get through JoJo’s season of the Bachelorette starting May 23 at 9 p.m. ET, followed by the premiere of Bachelor in Paradise on August 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
