Liberty Ross Still Ringless But Looking Fine At ‘Lawless’ Premiere After-Party
Following reports that Rupert Sanders’ jilted wife Liberty Ross has silently called it quits with her cheating husband, she finally made a public appearance at the premiere after-party of Shia LaBeouf’s Prohibition flick Lawless — sans wedding ring.
Ross has been spotted out and about without her wedding ring before, but the Lawless premiere after-party marks her first official public appearance after weeks in relative hiding since news broke of her husband’s affair with Kristen Stewart. Ross was there to support her friend, screenwriter Nick Cave, and was all smiles at the after-party, reports the LA Times.
Despite a star-studded guest list including Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Alice Eve, Bella Heathcote, Chad Michael Murray, and rocker Gene Simmons, Ross kept to a booth sipping DeLeon tequila for most of the night.
“She was in a good mood,” a fellow partygoer says. “She was laughing, she was happy, she was talking to everyone.”
And, by the way, she looked absolutely stunning. Kristen Stewart, who?
Anyway, Ross has kept a pretty low profile since photos of Rupert Sanders and Kristen Stewart kissing and cuddling hit media outlets in July. Sanders is reportedly desperate to reconcile with Ross, though she remains on the fence; her recent actions seem to indicate that she’s leaning toward breaking it off with Sanders, despite her father-in-law’s belief that the two will work things out.
According to AZCentral, Ross hasn’t even fully processed the scandal yet, so the lack of wedding ring might just be her way of distancing herself from her marriage long enough to decide where her husband stands.
”No decisions have been made. It’s been very hard on her dealing with this and all the media attention,” said a source. “She is very strong and working through it and keeping private about it.”
As for now, Ross is still “talking to and seeing Rupert now for the kids, but as far as the marriage she’s still processing everything that happened.”
