‘Dancing With The Stars’ Front-Runner Nyle DiMarco ‘Furious’ After Ginger Zee And Paige VanZant’s Dance Experience Is Exposed
Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars is almost over. With only a week of competition left, Nyle DiMarco revealed his dislike for Ginger Zee and Paige VanZant’s comments about their former dancing experience.
According to Radar Online, Zee informed everyone at the beginning of the season that she had never danced before.
“I was nervous coming out here as this new mom with no dance experience,” Zee shared at the start of the competition.
Zee works as the Chief Meteorologist for ABC while Vanzant is a UFC fighter.
Despite her comments about having zero dancing experience, the truth came out last week. Zee posted an image on social media that revealed she had participated in a college dance team. Zee was quick to cover her tracks and deleted the photo.
While fans were shocked at the news, they were even more surprised to learn that VanZant also has a history with dancing. In fact, her mom is a dance instructor.
Naturally, DiMarco was not thrilled to learn that both Zee and VanZant had lied about their dancing experience.
“Nyle thinks it’s hilarious because their karma totally caught up with them this week,” an inside source revealed.
It isn’t clear what DiMarco told Zee and VanZant after learning the truth about their past. However, reports indicate that he was “furious” after their past experience was exposed.
Despite having a disadvantage, DiMarco is currently the front-runner to win it all. This past week, he scored a 30 while performing blindfolded with Peta Murgatroyd.
“After Nyle’s dance, Paige and Ginger both came up to him to let him know that they were so impressed by him,” the insider continued. “They actually said they think he should be the winner now.”
That being said, Zee and her dancing partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, are not giving up so easily. During an interview with E! Online, the two discussed making it to the final round and all the hard work that is still ahead.
“I’m so grateful that it happened,” Zee told the outlet. “But I know that the hard work and all of his coaching, it felt outstanding. ”
As far as Chmerkovskiy is concerned, the work has only just begun as they head into the final week.
“We’re in the finals, but the show is not over. There is still a lot of work to do,” he added.
In the last episode of Dancing with the Stars, E! Online reports that fans watched two teams go home during the double elimination round. Despite having great performances, Antonio Brown and Wanya Morris did not advance to the final round.
Instead, DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd, Zee and Chmerkovskiy, and VanZant and Mark Ballas will each try to win the Mirrorball Trophy in the Season 22 finale.
Although last week’s performances were all good, DiMarco’s performance solidified himself as the clear front-runner to win it all.
Not only is DiMarco deaf, but he came out for his final performance with a blindfold on. His dance with Murgatroyd was so emotional and brilliant that judges awarded him a perfect score.
However, DiMarco wasn’t the only one to wow judges. VanZant’s dance with Ballas and Alan Bersten also rated high with the judges. The trio danced the samba and had the judges raving.
With all the teams bringing their best games last episode, it is anyone’s guess who will come out on top this season. Although DiMarco is on track to take home the Mirrorball, the other two teams are just as likely to beat him out.
The finale of Dancing with the Stars’ 22nd season is set to air Monday night on ABC.
