‘RHONY’ Star Kristen Taekman’s Marriage In Trouble After Ashley Madison Scandal?

Kristen Taekman has been keeping a low profile over the past couple of months. Last year, she announced that she would be leaving The Real Housewives of New York behind after just two seasons to focus on her marriage and her business. Kristen had previously revealed that she loved being on the show, so her decision did seem a bit rushed. But just months before the current season of The Real Housewives of New York started filming, Taekman’s husband, Josh, was caught up in a cheating scandal, and Kristen didn’t want to discuss it on the show.

According to a new Bravo report, Kristen Taekman is now revealing how she’s doing these days after learning that her husband had signed up for an account on Ashley Madison, a website that helps married people find people to have affairs with. At the time, Josh issued an apology via Us Weekly, sharing that he had only created the account as a joke with some friends. However, he never explained how he had spent thousands of dollars on the website.

“I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought forward to my life and my family,” he said at the time.

Weeks later, Kristen Taekman announced that she would be leaving The Real Housewives of New York behind.

“At this time in my life, I have decided to concentrate on my family and my new business ventures Pop Of Color nail polish and Last Night’s Look, my fashion blog,” Kristen Taekman revealed, according to the Daily Mail. “My experience during my time on RHONY was fantastic and I made some great new friends. I will remain a Housewife and part of an amazing franchise forever and that is what is important.”

Did the time from the spotlight save their marriage? While Kristen Taekman was hurt and upset by the cheating scandal, she strongly believes that her husband never had an affair. In fact, Kristen reveals that her marriage is 100 percent stronger after they went through this crazy scandal that could have easily been avoided.

“Looking back, I know my truth, and our truth, and our relationship,” Kristen recently told Entertainment Tonight, according to Bravo. “I just feel like I’m not on a reality TV show anymore, and I don’t have to explain it to anybody. So, that’s kind of how I’m leaving it.”

These days, Kristen Taekman isn’t really thinking about The Real Housewives of New York and what she left behind. Taekman has been working on her nail polish line called Pop of Color, and she’s been blogging on a site called Last Night’s Look. And she recently stripped down for a very sexy half-naked selfie.

“You didn’t even see anything. That’s not really racy. I just wanted a little privacy on the beach during my naked photo shoot in Miami, come on,” Taekman has revealed of the racy photo shoot she recently did, adding, “You’re not naked on the beach normally? For the record, I had a bottom on, OK? It was early in the morning and there weren’t that many people on the beach. It was for my blog Last Night’s Look and I was doing a bronzer post. I love that hat; it’s so cute.”

Taekman wants to put her time and effort into her fashion blog and her nail polish line, and it sounds like she has no interest in returning to The Real Housewives of New York. And one can imagine that her husband is glad that their private life isn’t shared on a very popular reality show.
