‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: What To Expect In The Season 12 Finale

The Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 finale is rapidly approaching, and fans want to know what to expect when the season comes to a close on Thursday night.

According to the latest Grey’s Anatomy news, the Season 12 finale will be a huge episode with a lot of content. Of course, Amelia and Owen’s wedding will take center stage.

The International Business Times reports that the big wedding won’t go off without a hitch. In fact, Amelia will be totally freaking out about walking down the aisle to marry Owen. Amelia’s feet will get so cold that fans are worried that the wedding won’t even happen at all.

Grey’s Anatomy actress Caterina Scorsone, who plays Amelia Shepherd on the show, reveals exactly what is going through her character’s head before the wedding.

“She was gung ho to go for it, but the morning of the wedding, she’s not getting the celebration and the party that she thought she’s get by becoming this adult who’s getting married. So she’s disappointed and feeling very betrayed.”

It looks like Amelia may have wanted to get married to Owen for all the wrong reasons. It’s obvious that Amelia has always been the black sheep of her own family and now the family she’s created with Meredith and Maggie. Of course, her drug and alcohol addiction problems haven’t helped matters, and the fact that she’s taken over her late brother Derek Shepherd’s job and is engaged to Cristina Yang’s ex-husband has Meredith feeling a bit hostile towards her sister-in-law.

Tensions are definitely going to be high during the Season 12 finale of Grey’s Anatomy this week, but it won’t just be Amelia and Owen who are feeling the heat.

Meredith is fresh off a hook-up with Owen’s nemesis, Nathan Riggs, who also happens to be the same man that Mere’s sister Maggie is totally crushing on. When Owen finds out that Meredith slept with Riggs, he will likely be furious; he blames his former friend for the death of his sister.

Meanwhile, Maggie may have some choice words for Meredith after it’s revealed that she’s hooked up with Nathan. Although Mere didn’t know how her sister felt about the newest Grey Sloan doctor, there could be a bit of jealousy and a complete change in dynamic between the two sisters. Will Meredith end the season at odds with both of her sisters?

Meanwhile, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, it seems that Jackson and April will have to put all their differences aside when she goes into labor. In the Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 finale trailer, it seems that there may be a problem getting April to the hospital and that Jackson might have to deliver his own child.

If this is the scenario that plays out, how can Grey’s keep April and Jackson apart any longer? Fans have been asking for them to reunite since their split, and now that their child is in the mix, it seems that everyone wants a proper April and Jackson reunion as well as another wedding for the couple, who are currently divorced.

Meanwhile, Alex and Jo’s relationship could be coming to an end. Jo has officially declined Alex’s marriage proposal, and in the finale, Grey’s Anatomy fans will find out why. Jo will reportedly reveal a big secret that she’s been keeping, and it will likely stun Alex as well as the viewers.

It looks like fans better brace themselves for a big Season 12 finale that will answer a lot of questions and pose even more for fans to think about during the summer until Season 13 returns in the fall.
