‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: What To Expect In Season 6, Episode 5
Game of Thrones delivered another huge episode during Season 6’s fourth installment. However, Episode 5 will likely be even bigger.
Game of Thrones fans know that with each passing episode of the 10-installment season, the shows get bigger, more dramatic, and tend to excite and shock fans. Season 6, Episode 5 should be no different.
In the trailer for the upcoming episode, Game of Thrones fans see Sansa Stark come face to face with Little Finger, the man who forced her to marry Ramsay Bolton. Sansa will finally get to look Little Finger in the eye and confront him about what he did to her life when he made her marry Ramsay, who is a complete monster.
Will Little Finger own up to knowing what kind of man Ramsay was before marrying Sansa off to him? If so, will he feel any remorse over the decision to basically crush Sansa’s spirit, and put her life in jeopardy?
Meanwhile, in Bravos, Arya Stark finally has her eyesight back, and is working closely with the faceless man again, who seems to be giving her another assignment.Game of Thrones viewers will remember that the last time Arya received an assignment from the faceless man it didn’t go well for her. However, fans are hoping that Arya has since learned her lesson, and will complete her task correctly this time around. As the faceless man asks her if death only comes for the wicked and leaves the decent behind, Arya seems to be understanding his way of life a bit better now. Could one of the people on her personal kill list be her next assignment?
Now that Game of Thrones viewers have seen a Stark reunion between Sansa and Jon Snow, and are hoping that they’ll also rescue little brother Rickon from Ramsay Bolton’s clutches, fans can’t help but root for Arya to also return to Winterfell and be reunited with her remaining family members.
All the while in the Iron Islands, Theon is officially home and has pledged his loyalty to his sister Yara, who plans to fight for the salt throne. Yara, who likely won’t get much competition from Theon for the throne, will probably have to battle her uncle, Euron, who recently came in to the mix, and killed off her father. Euron will more than likely believe that he should be Lord of the Iron Islands, and not Yara, as she’s a woman. However, with Theon’s help, many fans are hoping to see Yara take the honor for herself.
Over in Meereen, as Daenerys is still with the Dothraki, Tyrion and Varys meet a new priestess, and she looks very familiar. Get ready Game of Thrones fans, because there is a new red woman in town, she even wears the same necklace that Melisandre wears, the one that seemingly keeps her looking young when really she’s very, very old.
Will Tyrion buy into her theories and magic? Could this new woman find a champion in Tyrion or Daenerys to fight for the way that Melisandre fought for Stannis, and now Jon Snow? Things are definitely getting interesting in Meereen in episode 5.Finally, Bran Stark will have another big episode. It appears that Bran has gone under without the Three-Eyed Raven, and may now be stuck in his own mind, and he’s not in a good place. Bran is now walking among the huge army of White Walkers. Perhaps he’ll find out their plan or information, which could greatly help those willing to fight them when they come to take over the north.
After last week’s crazy episode of Game of Thrones where Jon Snow seems ready to take on Ramsay Bolton, and win back Winterfell with Sansa at his side, and Daenerys burning the Khals alive, fans are hoping to get more scenes with them as well, although they were not seen in the trailer for episode 6.
What are your thoughts on the latest Game of Thrones Season 6, episode 5 trailer? Which storyline are you most excited for?
