NeNe Leakes Denies Trying To Get Porsha Williams Off ‘RHOA’ Season 9

Is NeNe Leakes so upset with Porsha Williams that she’s trying to get her fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta? In recent days, there have been claims that NeNe is doing her best to keep Porsha away from the show’s ninth season. On Saturday, NeNe finally addressed the claims.

In a tweet, NeNe denied trying to get Porsha fired from the show. NeNe called the claims “fake a** rumors.” NeNe also made it clear that she’s too busy with her own career to do something like that. Yet, while NeNe isn’t trying to get Porsha fired from Real Housewives, perhaps NeNe and Porsha still aren’t on good terms, as NeNe stated that she doesn’t “give 2 f**ks.” Does NeNe not care about the show at all or does she not care about Porsha’s role on the show?

“Here we go wit FAKE A** Rumors again! I’m too busy to give 2 f**ks.”

On Season 7, NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams got a lot closer and seemed to become very good friends. Yet, that friendship began to show some cracks on the next season. On the latest season, while Porsha continued as a starring housewife, NeNe only appeared in a few episodes toward the end of the season. NeNe, who declared after Season 7 that she was leaving the show, made a surprise return during the group’s vacation in Jamaica. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, NeNe, when talking about her surprise return in a scene with Sheree Whitfield that didn’t air, admitted that she thought that Porsha, along with Phaedra Parks, would have been more excited to see her. NeNe said that Porsha and Phaedra instead gave her funny looks.

Despite no longer being a main cast member, NeNe did make an appearance on the Season 8 reunion show, where she sat in between host Andy Cohen and Porsha.

During the reunion show, it was revealed that Porsha physically attacked a friend outside Phaedra’s Christmas party. While the fight wasn’t shown during the episode that featured Phaedra’s Christmas party, it was shown during the reunion show. NeNe voiced her opinion that Porsha needs to stop with the physical violence. “Didn’t you choke somebody?” Porsha quickly retorted, in reference to NeNe’s past drama with former co-star Kim Zolciak.

NeNe sternly reminded Porsha that her altercation with Kim was never filmed.

“When was that? Did you see any footage of it? But have you seen any footage of it? Lets be clear, hold on, lets be clear. Have you seen me choke anybody? Well lets use our brain… Well first of all, if I have, I bet you I was smart enough to not have it on the camera but you wasn’t.”

In a softer voice, NeNe told Porsha that she needs to think of her career and to be careful to not tarnish her image.

In her blog post recapping The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, NeNe wrote that Porsha clearly didn’t welcome her advice.

“I certainly felt it was unnecessary for Porsha to say, ‘Didn’t you choke somebody?’ I was purely trying to give her good advice out of love, as I was asked to do by Andy. I consider myself a real friend as long as you are one, and I don’t condone the B.S. I’m not the friend that’s going to lie to your face and tell you what you want to hear! I’m the friend that’s going to school you, but I’m also the friend that knows when my advice is not welcome.”

Porsha Williams made it clear that she didn’t think NeNe Leakes’ words were meant as positive advice. After the reunion show aired, Porsha, during her Dish Nation hosting gig, criticized NeNe. Porsha even claimed that NeNe was trying to “cast curses” on her career. Porsha pointed out that she’s doing just fine.

“I deal with energy and you have to understand when someone’s trying to speak a curse upon you or when somebody’s trying to encourage you and speak blessedly to your life. And all I got from what, what I felt from what was so-called a friend, was basically trying to cast curses upon my career, that I won’t have jobs and things like that. All I have to say for that is I will pray for people like that and I will hope to have the discernment to know who is my friend and who is not my friend. And as far as my jobs are concerned, I have two successful companies, I just did Celebrity Apprentice and I am on a national, syndicated television show, Dish Nation, every single day.”
