‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Galen Gering Teases DiMera Drama And Consequences For Rafe, Plus Stefano Returns

Days Of Our Lives has been losing veteran characters. While most have exited the NBC soap opera due to budget cuts, failed contract negotiations or other reasons, Joseph Mascolo left because of his failing health. On January 11, fans said goodbye to Mascolo’s character, Stefano DiMera, when Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) pointed a gun and shot him. It turns out that Stefano’s murder is going to come up once again. Actor Galen Gering, who plays Rafe Hernandez, teased some DiMera drama concerning Stefano’s death.

Even though Stefano was last seen as a living character on Days of Our Lives in January, he did make one more appearance. On March 1, the DiMera patriarch appeared to Chad (Billy Flynn) as a spirit. According to Soap Opera Digest, Joseph Mascolo is going to once again come back for a quick appearance. Just like before, it will be Chad DiMera who sees the spirit. Does this have to do with Abigail (Kate Mansi) or will the topic be Hope and Rafe’s crime?

As fans remember, Rafe did not participate in shooting Stefano on Days of Our Lives. That was done by Hope, all on her own. However, he did help the grieving detective dispose of the body. Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) suspected Hope was involved in Stefano’s disappearance, but was never able to get any proof.

These days, Andre is behind bars, but not for long. We Love Soaps reported that on Monday, Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) and Andre will make a deal. The jailed DiMera wants his freedom and in exchange, he will back up Aiden’s story. However, there is much more DiMera drama coming to Salem.

In an exclusive interview with Enstarz, Galen Gering gave a few DOOL spoilers about his character. As for Rafe framing Andre for Stefano’s murder, Gering was asked if that particular storyline was the end. The actor replied that the problem is too big and won’t just disappear. Galen teased that there will be “significant repercussions” in the future.

When asked about Rafe’s past relationships causing future complications, Gering made a statement that can also be applied to Stefano’s murder and Aiden’s return.

“Unfortunately, thus far, that hasn’t been the case. I think it would be great to see some of that. I like when what’s happened in a character’s past continues to have repercussions in their lives,” Galen Gering told Enstarz, regarding Rafe’s former lovers. “Even if it was some friendly teasing, I think the viewers like to see when the dots are connected.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, DOOL spoilers state that Aiden and Andre could make a deal. This means viewers may see a lot of chaos and destruction. Aiden wants Hope back, but Rafe currently has her. Hope killed Stefano and Rafe not only helped dispose of the body, but framed Andre. The jailed DiMera has had plenty of time to think about what happened and come up with a plan. If Aiden agrees to the deal, then it is only a matter of time before Andre gets his revenge. This could put Rafe, Hope and even Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) in danger.

One thing is for sure, with so many different storylines and plot holes, fans like to connect the dots. The Stefano/Andre/Aiden/Hope/Rafe storyline should be coming together. However, who will suffer the consequences, and how severe will those repercussions be?
