Who Is Chad Johnson Of ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Season With JoJo Fletcher?

Chad Johnson is one of the guys who will be on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season with JoJo Fletcher. He may be one to keep an eye on as this spring plays out, and there have been a few teasers related to him already emerging. What do fans need to know about this bachelor?

As it happens, show creator Mike Fleiss tweeted out a picture of one of JoJo Fletcher’s bachelors to tease fans about what was on the way and the picture was of Chad Johnson. According to gossip guru “Reality Steve” Carbone’s spoilers, this particular Bachelorette suitor is likely going to be something of a villain this spring.

Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers indicate that Johnson is a former marine and he is from Oklahoma. He went to the University of Oklahoma and now works in real estate in the Tulsa area. Reality Steve’s teasers detail that Chad was fairly hot-tempered during his time on the show and he apparently was angling to start a lot of fights with the other guys who were there vying for Fletcher’s roses.

In his ABC profile, Chad is described as a “luxury real estate agent,” and his page on Realtor.com says that he’s lived in the Tulsa area for his whole life, other than during his time in the military. It seems that his family has been in the real estate business for years, and Johnson notes that he has been an entrepreneur since he was 13-years-old.

While real estate may be Chad’s focus now, he has also dabbled in flipping websites, day trading, the auto business, and investing. In a post he wrote some time back on Bigger Pockets, when he was looking to get into flipping houses, Johnson detailed that his father owns both commercial and residential rental properties and his sister is in the business as well. As many fans know, Fletcher is in real estate now as well, after having spent some time in medical equipment sales. Does this mean that these two will hit it off given their similar careers?

Johnson says that he is witty, confident, and good-hearted, and his Bachelorette profile gives off an air of either extreme confidence or a great deal of wit. Whether it is confidence or just a sarcastic sense of humor, fans are buzzing about many of the answers he provided to the show’s profile questions. Chad uses the same line in three of his biography questions, and it would appear that the quip may be an ode to Matthew McConaughey’s Academy Awards speech when he won the best actor Oscar for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.

Bachelorette show host Chris Harrison touted Johnson in his Yahoo! TV round-up as one of the five guys to watch this spring during Fletcher’s journey to find love. Harrison said that viewers will either love Chad or hate him, noting that he’s quite buff and charming. However, even Chris says that Johnson has a massive ego, is extremely competitive, and that he is not shy about shaking things up with the other guys.

Can this guy, who touts his greatest achievement as “being born good looking,” snag JoJo’s final rose? Viewers will have to wait and see how long he lasts, but Reality Steve’s spoilers hint that he will not be down on bended knee in front of Fletcher during the finale. However, he seems like he could be a great fit for Bachelor in Paradise, and viewers can likely bet that they will be seeing a fair amount of footage of this guy this spring.
