Jamie Dornan Distances Dakota Johnson For Wife Amelia Warner

Jamie Dornan reunited with his wife, Amelia Warner, during the shooting of Fifty Shades Darker. Ever since she had his second baby, she has been making frequent trips to Canada so that she can be near him as he wraps up the filming.

“Jamie Dornan steps out for a sushi dinner with his wife Amelia Warner on Thursday (May 12) in Vancouver, Canada,” reports Just Jared. “The 34-year-old actor, who is in town filming the next two movies in the Fifty Shades franchise, was also joined by his mother-in-law Annette.”

But this meant that the Irish actor had to distract himself from the intensely sexy scenes in Fifty Shades Darker to appeal more to his domestic and fatherly side, which are qualities that Christian Grey definitely does not embody.

His wife’s visit comes just days after his co-star surprised him with the sweetest birthday surprise.

The fact that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan won a Razzie Award for the worst onscreen chemistry for the first installment of the Fifty Shades series, they have been under pressure to step their performance up in the sequels.

So far, based on the sightings of the two actors, they have been stepping up their game. When his wife Amelia Warner was not in town, the father-of-two ramped up his chemistry with Dakota to work on the scenes that require special attention.

“While speculation has continued to circulate regarding the lackluster chemistry between Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) in Fifty Shades Darker, a new report suggests that the actors are now sizzling on set,” reports Heavy.

But recently, Amelia has been making regular appearances in Vancouver, showing that she can’t stand too much time apart. The last time that Jamie and Amelia were seen together, they were on a concert date.

“Crammed into the Rogers Arena with his wife Amelia Warner on Saturday, the 33-year-old actor seemed more concerned with the back of the concert hall than the antics on stage as they listened to the music,” reports Daily Mail.

This means that the 34-year-old actor is definitely putting some distance between him and Johnson, proving to his wife that on-screen romance does not translate off-screen.

So the 26-year-old actress has been focusing on her next projects, in particular promoting A Bigger Splash, another racy film that will attract summer audience into cinemas.

“Dakota Johnson had no qualms about stripping down for her latest big-screen outing,” which is is an erotic thriller starring Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, and Matthias Schoenaerts, according to Chicago Sun Times.

“Look at my résumé,” Fifty Shades Darker actress said.

“I was captivated by how intricate these four characters are, and how they mix and match and intertwine,” the actress said, showing to the fans that the erotic part of the movie just happened to be a coincidence following Fifty Shades.

But her career advancements didn’t end there. She has signed onto a new project and filming will start soon.

“50 Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson is joining Andrew Garfield in David Robert Mitchell’s Under The Silver Lake, a modern noir crime thriller set in Los Angeles that Mitchell is writing and directing,” reports Deadline.

Still, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan have a fairly good amount of days before they completely wrap up their work in Vancouver.

“Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were enjoying the perks of the job on Thursday while filming Fifty Shades Darker,” reports Daily Mail. “The actors were spotted on a luxury yacht in Vancouver, Canada while taking part in a nighttime shoot. Dakota, 26, and Jamie, 33, made a stunning pair in black-tie formal wear.”
