Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Split Before Wedding, Did Suri Cruise Say ‘No’ To Foxx Being Her Stepdad?

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have reportedly called off their plans to wed. Although their relationship appeared to be going well, reports now indicate that they are no longer together. Why did the two stars decide to call it quits before the big day? Did Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise have a say in the matter?

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Foxx was spotted during a lunch outing in California over the weekend. While Foxx is supposedly coming off of a split with Holmes, the Django Unchained star appeared happy during his stroll through L.A.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, reports indicate that Foxx and Holmes are no longer together. That being said, Foxx and Holmes have done a great job at keeping their relationship off the books, though a few sightings together seemingly confirmed their romance. With that in mind, it is difficult to tell if the two are separated and have called off their wedding plans.

If Holmes and Foxx have decided to split before the wedding, then the biggest question remaining is why they ended the relationship. Unfortunately, fans may never know the truth of the matter, especially considering how Foxx and Holmes have kept their entire relationship a secret up to this point.

That being said, there is a chance that Holmes’ ex-husband, Tom Cruise, had something to do with the breakup. After all, reports hinted that Cruise was unhappy with Holmes’ relationship with Foxx and did not approve of Foxx’s influence on the life of their daughter, Suri.

Indeed, Cruise feels a strong connection with his daughter’s life and undoubtedly views himself and Holmes as the primary parental figures. Even though he only sees Suri sparingly throughout the year, he is not the type to surrender his fatherly duties without a fight. With that in mind, did Cruise influence Holmes to break things off with Foxx and go their separate ways?

If Cruise was the force behind their split, then there is a good chance that he didn’t want to see Foxx raising his daughter. Although Foxx and Cruise have worked together on films in the past, and have even developed a friendship along the way, there is a possibility that things turned ugly once Foxx got romantically involved with Holmes.

Of course, Foxx’s relationship with Katie Holmes was never officially confirmed. According to Hip Hollywood, there is some doubt whether or not the two were ever together. These doubts fly in the face of the reports that Holmes and Foxx were in love and were even planning on marrying each other in the near future.

Apart from the mysteries surrounding their relationship, it is now apparent that they have recently split. While Cruise may have played a part in the demise of their relationship, there is also a chance that Suri wanted Holmes to end things with Foxx.

Apparently, there is some indication that Suri did not get along too well with Foxx. In fact, Suri’s dislike for Foxx, and especially his relationship with Holmes, may have been a big factor in their split. After all, Holmes is very loyal and protective of her daughter, and there is little chance that she would go through with a wedding without her support.

At this time, there is no telling why Holmes and Foxx decided to call it quits. While it is possible that Cruise had a hand in the matter, there is also a chance that Suri’s input also determined Foxx’s fate. Whatever the truth of the matter, it is clear that fans will have to wait until Foxx and Holmes address the issue to discover why they are no longer together.
