‘Walking Dead’ Rumors: Did Photo Reveal Who Negan Did Not Kill?
When it comes to this summer, the biggest Walking Dead rumors surround who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale. There are two major names floating around of who the victim might be. The first is Daryl because he is not in the comics and would be a huge death and proves that no one on the show is safe. The second is Glenn for the simple reason that he is who Negan killed in the comics when the group met him.
A new TMZ photo indicates that neither of those characters died at the hands of Negan. The Walking Dead is filming, and there was a car accident close to the set of the show. While getting into an accident is never good, this victim actually got to meet two of the most popular cast members of The Walking Dead. Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, and Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn, stopped to help out at the accident.

While Walking Dead rumors of whether Daryl or Glenn died won’t subside completely concerning the popular characters, having both actors on set for next season makes it look like they are not going anywhere anytime soon. Of course, as Michael Rooker proved, characters can return in dreams and as zombies themselves.
While Glenn seems the most obvious person that Negan killed, The Walking Dead likes to switch things up between the comics and the TV show. An example came last season when Denise was shot in the eye and killed by Negan’s men. In the comics, it was Abraham who took the shot in the eye. However, Abraham remained in the land of the living, which is great news as he is a very popular character on the show, although he was there when Negan killed someone in The Walking Dead finale.
However, not everyone is safe, including major characters like Daryl and Glenn. Rick Grimes’ wife Lori died in the comics, killed by the Governor, and she also died on The Walking Dead TV show, this time during child birth. That allowed Baby Judith to come into the world while she did not live in the comics. These differences make the show surprising for fans of the comics and also help The Walking Dead rumors remain so fun to speculate on.
While the photos of Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun at the accident near the Walking Dead set creates great speculation that Daryl and Glenn will both survive the Negan death scene with his barbed wire bat Lucille, it does not mean they are safe. It also doesn’t mean that Negan did not kill them, as they might be needed for the premiere or the episode that will actually show the death after The Walking Dead Season 6 finale only hinted at it.
HNGN reported that Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman already explained the reasoning behind the Walking Dead Season 6 cliffhanger finale and how it played out. When Negan killed Glenn in the comics, it happened at the end of the issue and was a huge selling point for the next issue to see how Rick and company dealt with it. On the show, they never showed who Negan killed, and Walking Dead rumors were all that was left to tide fans over until Season 7 arrives later in the year.“I know people are angry over this, but that wasn’t our intent. The idea was that after 6 seasons of the show, we wanted to stay on your mind and give you something to talk about … And think of it this way… a character you love and are going to miss is DEAD, and we gave you a few extra months to hope, to not grieve. Is there uncertainty? Yes. But that was kind of the idea.”
When it comes to Walking Dead rumors, the options that Negan killed include Daryl, Glenn, Rosita, Michonne, Rick, Carl, Maggie, Abraham, Sasha, Aaron, and Eugene. With the new photos of Norman Reedus and Steven Yeun at the accident close to The Walking Dead set, could they have been eliminated from the list of possible victims? When it comes to answering the question of who Negan killed, fans will have to wait until October to learn that answer.
