Chris Harrison Dishes On ‘Bachelorette’ Star JoJo’s Top Five Guys, Hints At Her Final Pick

Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher handed out her final rose earlier this week, less than two weeks before the season premiere airs on ABC. Although fans won’t find out who JoJo picked until the finale airs in July, host Chris Harrison has dropped a few hints about the five guys fans should keep a close eye on when the season gets underway on May 23.

Who is this season’s villain? Which guy came on the show to become the next Bachelor? And which one of Chris Harrison’s “five guys to watch” is a perfect match for JoJo?

[Warning: Bachelorette Season 12 spoilers ahead]

Hours before the bios of JoJo’s 26 guys were released by ABC, Chris spoke to Yahoo TV’s Carrie Bell about JoJo and the “dynamic” group of men she had to pick from, pointing to five who will either become fan favorites or will get fans talking — and not in a positive way.

Here are five of JoJo’s men fans may want to add to their Bachelorette Bracket — it’s possible that one of them wins the final rose this season, but that’s not always the case when Chris Harrison makes his annual list of men to watch.

Not all of the JoJo’s guys will be on their best behavior this season. Chad Johnson is one of the men who gets a bad rap, perhaps even earning himself the “Villain of the Season” title. Blogger Reality Steve has hinted that Chad would be trouble, stating that the Oklahoma native “pretty much wanted to fight every guy” during his time on the show.

Chris Harrison tells Yahoo! that Chad has an “ego to go with the Olympic-sized body” and because he is so competitive, he will “definitely make some waves in the house.” Will his aggressive behavior get him a one-way pass back home or will JoJo see beyond his not-so-gentle demeanor?

Contestant Jordan Rodgers also made Chris’ list of men to watch this season, and while Us Weekly pegs the former pro football player as this season’s frontrunner, that may not be the case.

Harrison isn’t quite so sure that the younger brother of Green Bay Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers came on the show for the right reasons. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Jordan may have his eyes on becoming the next Bachelor star, not JoJo’s future husband.

However, Reality Steve states that it would be a “pretty big upset” if Jordan, the recipient of the first impression rose, isn’t the winner.

Bachelorette fans should keep their eye on Grant Kemp this season, but not because he makes it to the final rose ceremony — Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate that Grant is eliminated early-on in the season.

Chris Harrison tells Yahoo TV that the San Francisco-based firefighter may not ready for a relationship because he just got out of a long-term relationship, but it would be a shame to see this hunky firefighter off our TV screens for good. Could we see Grant on Bachelor in Paradise this summer?

“He just got out of a long-term relationship very recently, though. That relationship went down in flames and so the question with him now is ‘Is he ready to get back out there? Is it too soon?'”

Evan Bass will stand out among the other 25 contestants this season, but mostly for his interesting career. Although spoilers don’t point to the 33-year-old Nashville single father making it to the final rose this season, the fact that he runs a chain of erectile dysfunction clinics will definitely make him part of the entertainment for as long as he is on the show, especially on the group date that will feature some candid sex talk.

“He is very normal and down-to-Earth,” Chris Harrison told Yahoo. “He is used to the real world of working and making lunches for the kids compared to the puffed-up party guys. But will that ultimately be something she is interested in?”

The fifth guy on the “men to watch” list is Texas native Luke Pell, who Chris Harrison says is one of his “favorite guys” this season. Luke is one of four guys who made it to hometown dates and is rumored to be one of the final two men standing at the final rose ceremony.

Luke, 31, graduated from West Point in 2007 and served as a platoon leader in the Afghan war until 2007. He then completed his assignment in the United States, serving as an Army Captain in El Paso, Texas, in 2011. He now works as a singer-songwriter in Nashville and has been booking venues and playing gigs since 2014.

“He is smart, kind, and charming; he is the whole package,” Chris Harrison stated. “He is a Texas boy, so he and JoJo have that in common. He really fits for JoJo.”

Could Luke be the guy that gets JoJo Fletcher’s final rose, or is it Jordan Rodgers? Tune in to watch the Bachelorette starting with the two-hour season premiere on May 23 to find out.
