Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Headed For A Split? Tom Cruise’s Ex-Wife May Be Over Their Secret Romance

Are Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx going to break up before going public with their romance?

According to a new report, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx may be on the verge of a split and it’s all because of Foxx’s alleged hesitancy to confirm their relationship publicly.

“The Dawson’s Creek actress has allegedly been pressuring him to go public with their relationship or risk losing her for good,” Hall of Fame Magazine revealed to readers on May 12.

As the report revealed, Katie Holmes is said to be getting tired of sneaking around with her man.

“[Katie Holmes] has grown weary of playing hide-and-seek with their relationship,” a close friend of the actress told Radar Online on May 4. “After several years skulking about with him on the down low,” she is ready to show off her man.

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been linked to one another since 2013, but so far, they have yet to make any public appearances as a couple and they’ve never confirmed their reported dating relationship.

In August, 2013, as revealed by Yahoo! Celebrity, Katie Holmes and Foxx appeared to be enjoying one another’s company during the Apollo in the Hamptons: A Night of Legends benefit held at Ron Perelman’s East Hampton estate in New York. During the event, Katie Holmes and Foxx reportedly began dancing together during a Lenny Kravitz performance, and at one point, Holmes was seen taking a drink of her alleged boyfriend’s beverage. Later in the evening, Katie Holmes and Foxx took to the stage where they danced together in front of an audience.

Following the event, rumors regarding Katie Holmes and Foxx’s relationship began to swirl, but during an interview with Page Six, Foxx denied they were dating.

“[The rumors] are 100 percent not true. In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people,” he told the New York Post. “I had Colin Powell on stage dancing [too], so they could have said me and Colin Powell were dating.”

In the same report, a source claimed Foxx was denying the romance with Katie Holmes because of his past working relationship with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. In 2004, Foxx and Cruise starred alongside of one another in Collateral, and according to the report, Foxx didn’t want to upset him.

“Jamie is being careful because he has a lot of respect for Tom,” the insider claimed.

Months later, in January of 2014, rumors of Katie Holmes’ reported romance with Foxx surfaced again after she allegedly flew to California to stay with him at his Los Angeles home and the following month, they reportedly spent Super Bowl weekend together.

While reports claimed Katie Holmes and Foxx didn’t actually attend the Super Bowl as a couple, they allegedly spent a lot of time together in the Big Apple that weekend.

Katie Holmes and Foxx’s relationship remained on the down low for months, but in August, 2014, things seemingly got serious between them and around that time, Holmes purchased a home in Los Angeles which was reportedly quite close to the L.A. home of Foxx.

Then, in 2015, another source denied they were serious.

“This is not some intense romance,” a source told People Magazine. “Jamie and [Katie Holmes] are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.”

At the same time, the source said that Katie Holmes was visiting Foxx “often” at his Los Angeles home and that “they spend hours together” at a time.
