Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Nicholas Hoult Fighting Stories To Promote ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’
Jennifer Lawrence is single and proud, but she does reminisce about the good old days of relationships from time to time. The X-Men: Apocalypse star has just confessed that she used to have fights with ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult in a southern accent.
Despite the fact that JLaw and Nicholas are exes, they have continued to be good friends while filming the rest of the X-Men movies. They first started dating while filming X-Men: First Class, but they called it off in August 2014.
The fact that they are good friends means Jennifer feels comfortable about revealing aspects of their relationship that she would not otherwise share.
“Nick always said whenever I yelled at him it was always in a Southern accent,” the actress said to Entertainment Tonight while promoting the new X-Men: Apocalypse movie.
Sounds like the 25-year-old actress is hilarious even when she is mad at someone.
Her moments of cringe-worthiness don’t end with her shouting matches with Nicholas Hoult. She has also recently confessed on The Graham Norton Show that she went up to dance with J.J. Abrams and Harrison Ford only to get a cold shoulder.
“So I went up to [Harrison Ford and J.J. Abrams] and started dancing like an idiot and the whole table just went quiet and stared at me,” Jennifer Lawrence said according to Us Weekly. “I realized while I am dancing that they had absolutely no idea who I was so I just turned around and walked back to Jack, dying of embarrassment.”
But, her guts to seize the day are probably the reason she has become the highest paid actress in Hollywood in just a quarter of a century.
Despite all her escapades and funny Hollywood stories, Jennifer is feeling the pangs of single life — hard. She recently became the media’s favorite after she joked about not having felt the touch of a man in months.
“Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t keep a straight face when she was asked about her love life at the Thursday, April 28, premiere of her latest project, the IMAX film A Beautiful Planet, which she narrated,” reports Us Weekly. “In a clip from Extra‘s on-camera interview, AJ Calloway asks the 25-year-old Hunger Games star about the latest developments in her romance dating life.”
When he asked about her relationship status, she answered comically, “What dating life?”
“It’s really sad,” Jennifer added. “I haven’t felt the touch of a man in …”
The necessity of hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas during X-Men: Apocalypse probably reminded her of all the times that she felt secure in a relationship. But, that’s water under the bridge for the actress now.
Still, she isn’t afraid to be frank about her loneliness and even poke fun at herself.
“No one ever asks me out,” Jennifer Lawrence said to Vogue. “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”
Sounds like she is a sensitive soul underneath all her jokes and funny moments.
