??Nicki Minaj? Says ?Safaree Samuels?? ‘Can’t Move On’ – He Is Suing Her For Physical And Emotional Abuse

??Nicki Minaj? and ?Safaree Samuels?? have long been old news, but the “Anaconda” singer’s ex-boyfriend is going through with a lawsuit against the famous rapper for emotional and physical abuse. Minaj took to Twitter on Tuesday night and blasted any and all claims Safaree was making in regards to their relationship.

But how did all of this start? Well, last year, Safaree Samuels appeared on a morning radio show to confirm the fact that he was filing a lawsuit against Nicki Minaj. Samuels, in addition to the alleged physical and emotional abuse, is suing Nicki for writing several of her songs as well as producing two of her albums.

“If you work at a radio station for a year and then at the end of that year you just got cut and you did the work and all of that and then the station is still out doing their thing and making their bread,” Safaree told The Breakfast Club in December of 2015. “I don’t even want to do all of that, I don’t even want to have to do that, but what’s right is right and if the shoe was on the other foot it wouldn’t have come to that.”

While she was blowing up, Nicki Minaj managed to hide Safaree from the public eye for quite a long time and never really talked about him in interviews. Meek Mill, on the other hand, isn’t receiving the same kind of treatment. In fact, Nicki’s relationship with Meek has been very public and Minaj hasn’t been afraid to touch on their relationship in certain interviews or even reveal cute pictures of them together on Instagram. It’s clear that Safaree Samuels was never getting the same kind of treatment Meek is currently getting, even though Safaree and Nicki had been dating for over a decade, but is there a reason for that?

Samuels was apparently trying to get in contact with Nicki, 33, through email, which prompted Meek Mill to personally ask Safaree to stop and leave them alone. In her Twitter rant, Minaj went on to claim that Safaree had once stolen money from her and while she was aware of this, she says she never pressed charges. But it looks as if Nicki has changed her mind on that after being hit with this lawsuit on Monday, May 9. On Friday, May 6, Minaj was celebrating Meek Mill’s birthday and was all over social media posting about it.

According to Complex, Safaree Samuels? is rumored to be joining the cast reality show Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood for its third season and has been publicly seen with the show’s star Nikki Mudarris. Nicki Minaj referenced the reality show in her Twitter rant, suggesting that the only reason Samuels is doing this is to simply pull in more attention for himself.

In the beginning of 2015, Samuels appeared on The Breakfast Club and revealed that he was the one who initially ended the relationship. Apparently, while they were dating, Safaree was helping her out with her lyrics and was even interested in starting a rap career for himself, but Nicki refused to let him do so. This was something that Samuels claimed he was okay with at the time. But he walked away from the relationship feeling completely disrespected and felt as though Nicki was treating him like he was one of her employees.

Either way, it’s certainly clear that Nicki Minaj will not be putting up without a fight in regards to this lawsuit Safaree has placed against her.
