‘Suits’ Season 6 Episode 1 Spoilers: EP Clears Rachel Is Pregnant Rumors, Mike Surives Prison Without Harvey’s Help
Suits Season 6 Episode 1 is set to air on Wednesday, July 13 before the Season 2 premiere of another hit USA series, Mr. Robot. Series creator Aaron Korsh recently held a Q&A on his official Twitter account with fans eager to find out what will happen to Mike (Patrick J. Adams), Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Rachel (Meghan Markle), Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Jessica (Gina Torres), Louis (Rick Hoffman), and the rest of Pearson Specter Litt.
Suits showrunner Aaron Korsh responded to one of the most popular fan theories online: Rachel getting pregnant with Mike’s baby. When the Season 5 finale aired, several fans took to Twitter to guess about what the future will hold for Mike and Rachel in Suits Season 6. Many believed that Rachel will find out that she is pregnant while Mike is in jail. With the stress of law school and her job at Pearson Specter Litt, one can only imagine how throwing a baby in the mix can make things more difficult for Rachel.
On Twitter, a fan directly asked Korsh if there were truths to Rachel getting pregnant in Suits Season 6.
“That is an excellent question that I will answer by saying it would be an easy way to go,” he replied.
Korsh was also if he can see Mike and Rachel happily married with children when the last Suits episode premieres.
“Hard to tell is the truth,” Korsh replied.
Aaron Korsh also answered a few questions on the Suits cast, Harvey’s love life, as well as what is next for Mike and Harvey.
“@petermcm83 did u help select the cast? Was Gina Torres picked for Jessica because of her role in firefly?” Yes I did and yes she was.

“@agrzesiak07 Would u kill 1 of the main characters on #Suits? If yes, who?” I think having the guts 2kill Norma shows that no one is safe.

Suits Season 5 was clearly filled with several tense moments, especially the last six episodes. Both Korsh and lead star Gabriel Macht, however, promised fans that Season 6 is going to be much lighter. In an interview with Yahoo TV, the showrunner shared that there will be some “funny stuff” in the coming season.
“We get back to some of those fun and funnier stories.”
In the same interview, Patrick J. Adams, who plays Mike Ross in the hit USA series, shared that he is actually quite excited to see how his character will fare in prison. The actor recounted that the last time we got to see Mike in a different environment is when he went in to become an investment banker in Suits Season 4.
“We had always imagined that that would be a longer divide, but I think fans really responded very quickly that they didn’t love that,” he explained.
This time around, Adams hoped that Mike would get to stay in prison longer than just a few episodes.
“You cannot just throw us back into the old way of doing things — which is why I love it, and I think it’s been a big risk. I want to do it as long as we feel the story will hold it.”
He also hinted that there will be an exciting story up ahead come Suits Season 6. He shared that Mike is not the type of person who will just spend his time in jail reading books and lying low. He speculated that a new character will be introduced in the coming episodes who will end up needing his help.
With all that has happened in Suits Season 5, Patrick J. Adams believed that it will be impossible for Mike to return as a lawyer in Pearson Specter Litt. While he felt that the audience will want him and Harvey to get back to working together in the coming episodes, the actor held that he just does not see it happening.
“My fear, obviously, is that if people feel like Mike and Harvey are so separate the whole time that they’ll want us back together so much that we’ll have to figure out some way of getting him out of prison and back to being a lawyer, which, to me, just seems sort of impossible.”
