Aziz Ansari Resents Donald Trump’s Views On Muslims, And Amal Clooney Agrees

Aziz Ansari and Eric Wareheim are official producers and stars of Kanye West’s music video for his hit song “Famous,” which features a chorus from Rihanna, according to Consequence of Sound. West himself adopted the 33-year-old comedian and Wareheim’s music video as the official clip for The Life of Pablo, the rapper’s seventh studio album.

The now-official music video for Kanye West’s hit song was filmed as part of Aziz Ansari and Wareheim’s new season of their Netflix show Master of None, which was filmed in Italy. Social media warmly embraced the ridiculous music video, and it seems like Kanye West is on board with them.

A rep for JASH, which is a group of comedians that includes Michael Cera, Wareheim, and Sarah Silverman, confirmed that Kanye West himself adopted Aziz Ansari and Wareheim’s wacky video as the official clip for “Famous.”

“Eric uploaded it on his own YouTube channel with the help of JASH, a comedy collective that he helped found, when Kanye agreed to have it be the official music video for the song.”

And the exciting news has surely motivated Aziz Ansari and Wareheim to record music videos for the rest of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo album, which was released on February 14, 2016.

Aziz Ansari wasn’t exactly happy to see GOP front-runner Donald Trump at the Time 100 Gala in New York City last week, according to People Magazine. The comedian was surprised when he first found out Trump was in attendance of the event that honors people in the spheres of science, technology, and arts and entertainment.

And Aziz Ansari couldn’t resist making a Muslim joke, telling reporters on the red carpet that Trump allegedly asked for the comedian to be seated in a different area.

“Oh yeah, he asked for me to be seated in a different area. I’ll go ask him if he’s going to put my parents under surveillance since they’re Muslim.”

Aziz Ansari is not the first celebrity to criticize the GOP front-runner for his comments about Muslims, which include Trump’s plans to stop all Muslims from entering the United States should he become the president of the U.S. later this year.

Amal Clooney, the wife of actor George Clooney, recently urged American citizens to realize what Trump’s comments about Muslims are really all about. Clooney said Trump called 1.5 billion Muslims, including Aziz Ansari, around the world dangerous, violent, and extremist.

“If you actually look at what he specifically said in that now infamous speech about Muslims, he kept saying, ‘They only want jihad. They don’t believe in our way of life. They don’t respect our system.'”

Aziz Ansari has always been a strong supporter of Muslims being part of the movie and TV industry in Hollywood. And he proves it with his recent episode of Netflix show Master of None, according to First Post.

In the latest episode, titled “Indians on TV,” Aziz Ansari and the show’s co-creator and writer Alan Yang, who is Ansari’s fellow “person of color,” wrote the episode’s script, in which the two joked that it’s a common Hollywood practice that Caucasian actors play non-white characters with the help of makeup.

In one of their conversations, Dev (Aziz Ansari) and Ravi (Yang) discuss how producers of The Social Network cast a white actor to play an Indian. After Dev says they used brown face makeup on him, Ravi insisted he had read that actor is “1/16th Indian.” And Dev had a rather witty reply to that.

“We’re all 1/16th something. I’m probably 1/16th black. You think they’re going to let me play Blade?”
