Well, aren’t we all amicable! Denise Richards threw a party in her Beverly Hills home over the weekend for ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller , proving that even celebrities can let bygones be bygones after nasty, public splits.
The 41-year-old actress announced the unusual gathering via Twitter on Sunday, writing, “Having a party today . . . ex-wife No. 2 (me) is having ex-wife No. 3 (Brooke) birthday party at my house . . . oh and our ex-husband will be here. How’s your Sunday?” Ours was fine, thanks. Yours sounded a little awkward, but we’re pleased as peaches to see everyone getting along so famously.
Indeed, the exes and all their children helped Mueller celebrate her 35th birthday along with family and friends, reports Us Weekly .
The break-down, courtesy of TheCelebrityCafe : 46-year-old Sheen and Mueller divorced in 2011. They have two children together, twin sons Bob and Max, 3. Sheen was married to Richards between 2002 and 2006. They have two daughters together, Sam, 8, and Lola, 7. Richards also has a baby girl, Eloise, who she adopted in 2011.
That all makes for a pretty confusing and complicated party when the whole “how did y’all meet?” question comes up. But despite our skepticism (hey, we’re the media), sources say that all parties get on quite well.
“Charlie, Denise, and Brooke all get along extremely well. They want what is best for their kids, and truly love and support each other. Brooke is looking ahead to an exciting year, and is dedicated more than ever to being the best mom she can to Bob and Max, and knowing she has the support of Charlie and Denise truly means so much to her,” a source told RadarOnline .
Good enough for us. Here’s the tweet that started it all. Go ahead and re-tweet or respond to it; that’s why we put it there!
