Jessica Parido Accuses Mike Shouhed Of Lying About Her On ‘Shahs Of Sunset’
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed posted a message to his Facebook page on Sunday morning in which he praised mothers and wished all the moms out there, both those are who are still living and those who have passed, a happy Mother’s Day.
“Happy Mothers Day to all the mommies out there, whether here with us or in Heaven.”
Besides his own mom, was Mike specifically thinking about his ex Jessica Parido’s mom? Jessica’s mom passed away a few years ago. In July 2014, after Mike’s proposal to Jessica aired on the reality show, he revealed to RumorFix that he chose to propose to Jessica during a skydiving experience because he wanted her to near her mom.
“I figured what better way to show a woman that she makes you fearless than to jump into your new life together. Jessica’s mom also passed away a few years ago, so I wanted to be as close to heaven a possible so her mom could share this moment with us.”
In March 2015, right after they got married in Los Angeles, Mike told WetPaint Entertainment that he wants Jessica to be the mother of his children.
“It’s crazy. Within the first couple of months of dating we already knew we were going to get married. It’s always been my dream to have four children with her. Why four? I don’t know. I’m a product of three and I always felt there was one odd man out so I think four’s a good even number. The day I perish I’m going to have my children and family around me and, I think, the bigger the better.”
Yet Mike Shouhed’s marriage to Jessica Parido ended up being a very short one. In November 2015, Jessica filed for divorce from Mike. She revealed to In Touch Weekly that she discovered that Mike was cheating on her. Jessica’s divorce petition lists the date of separation as August 1, 2015.
“Barely six months after our [March 29] wedding, I found endless texts with different girls that he would meet up with and have sex with. There were graphic text messages about sex and his penis size. It was disgusting.”
The current fifth season of Shahs of Sunset shows Mike and Jessica’s first months of marriage. Last week’s episode hinted at the marital troubles that would come later. On that episode, Jessica expressed shock that her phone bill amounted to $550 and that a tea set that she saw at a store cost $5,000. As they sit down for dinner, Jessica yelled at Mike for being on his phone constantly. Mike countered that he’s on his phone for business. When Jessica said that she doesn’t ask for a lot, only for him to stay off his phone for 10 minutes, Mike retorts that she doesn’t pay any bills, lives in a house and drives a brand new car.
In his confessional interview, Mike implied that Jessica’s spending was out of control.
“Here I am trying to working my a** off to give my wife and myself the type of lifestyle that I want us to be accustomed to. She just brought that tea set, f**king $500 phone bill. No matter how hard I work, I just can’t get ahead of the spending and having my wife understand that. You can’t just go picking money off trees, you gotta work for that s**t.”
Yet according to Jessica, what Mike said were lies. As the scene aired, she tweeted that it was all lies.

In response to someone who asked Jessica if she really did buy the $5,000 tea set, she said no.

Jessica also seemed to tweet that Mike never paid for her phone bill.

Next week’s episode of Shahs of Sunset will show Mike and Jessica reveal that their marriage is crumbling. A preview clip shows Mike and Jessica at marriage counseling. Jessica admits to the therapist that she has moved out of the marital home. She explains that she lost herself in the relationship.
“When I first met him, I like right away knew we were gonna get married and so literally I did everything to try to prove to him that I was good enough to be his wife. And I effed myself because then I became my own person and I realized, four years later, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t even know who I am anymore.’ That’s how I feel…I’m to the point where I’m kind of building this wall because I don’t want to hurt anymore.”
In what may be a reference to the cheating, Jessica in her confessional interview talks about “issues” between her and Mike that people don’t know about.
“Mike and I have been fighting constantly for the last however many weeks. There were just these recurring issues that kept coming up. Issues that most people don’t know.”
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Mike Shouhed admitted that he cried upon watching the season five Shahs of Sunset premiere episode, an episode that showed him and Jessica Parido during happier times.
